Crock-Pot Electric Lunch Box, Portable Food Warmer for On-the-Go, 20-Ounce, Black/Blue

I have had this item for years and love it! I have several dietary restrictions so I use this almost every day. The evening before, I fill the inner container with leftovers to take to lunch the next day. The next day, I plug it in as soon as I get to work (7:00 AM) and it is ready to eat when I need it (but at least an hour later). I’m a special education teacher so I don’t have 1 long lunch time, but have to eat during small times throughout the day. I leave it plugged in all day and eat when I am able. The food does not burn and is hot all day. I’ve purchased one other lunch- warmer product, and the food all burned within an hour of plugging it in. This crock pot product is my favorite! I purchased a second crock pot warmer only because I needed the inner container (I lost the lid for my original one). But that works well because then I leave 1 warmer at home to use on the weekends and 1 at work. I do wish it was possible to buy the inside container and lid separately. Though, a tip, if you lose the lid you can just use aluminum foil. After at least 5 years, the warmer lot won’t screw on anymore so I will purchase another for that reason, but even with the lid not screwing on, it still warms my food just fine.

This compact crockpot is perfect for enjoying home-cooked leftovers at the office. I've owned mine for years and keep it permanently at work for reheating meals. The size is ideal for single servings, and it heats food evenly throughout. While the removable inner bowl makes it portable when needed - which is convenient for certain foods I want to prep at home - I usually just bring my leftovers in separate containers since the unit stays at my desk. Also helps save money.

I LOVE this little crock pot! It definitely is nice for sending soup, chili, foods that need to be hot to work with my husband. This does not cook your food, just reheats them. The food is very hot when he's ready for lunch so it's definitely worth it. He plugged it in around 10 and by noon it was hot so it doesn't have to be plugged in all morning long. It's very compact and light weight. Easy to clean. The only complaint would be the lid. It's made of a stiff plastic so it doesn't snap in very tightly so I worry that it might come off if the bowl tipped on its side. Other than that this has been such a great thing to buy

I bought mine 3 years ago, along with a couple extra liner/lids. I plug it in when I get to work in the morning, pop in the liner (which has usually come out of my refrigerator) and by lunch time I have a nice hot meal. The liner and lid are dishwasher safe. Observations: Mine is slightly older so has the attached cord. Since I leave it at work, that's not an issue. I have it plugged into a power strip, so it's easy for me to plug and unplug (it doesn't have an off switch). Two of the lids I have are not liquid-tight. If I was transporting something with a lot of liquid, like a soup, I'd put it in plastic grocery sack and sit on the floor of my car, but for anything else, it's not really an issue. It would be nice to have the lids tight for transport, but it's not a deal-killer. I like that it slowly warms up the food evenly, unlike a microwave. It also tastes more like the food when it was first cooked, rather than the 'warmed up' taste. Note: I ordered the extra liners/internal lids directly from the Crockpot web site, as I couldn't find them for sale here. I got them within a week.

I loved my first one so much for work, I bought this second one for home. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is the non-removable cord. My first one, a newer model, has a removable cord, easy to stow in my lunch box. This one has a non-removable cord, and unfortunately, even though it has on-board storage, it's about a 1/4" too short and is really hard to get the cord to wrap around and reach the plug-end storage on the underside of the appliance, making storage on a shelf at home less convenient than I'd like. Both work perfectly to bring food up to eating temperature and holding it there without overcooking it. (Food must be cooked before putting it in, this is a warmer, not a cooker. It's perfect for soups, leftovers, your own food-prepped meals, and prepared foods like the Hormel Compleats meals I buy for fast and easy lunches.)

Provides exactly what I wanted, convenience at work without having to compete for microwave time in a busy break room. I bring my soup/chili/stew in a canning jar so it doesn’t leak. Around 1100, I plug this baby in and by 1200-1230 (whenever I’m ready), my food is hot and ready to go. I love the ease of having this on a corner of my desk where I can check it, stir, etc. I do the washing up in the afternoon in the kitchen or bathroom, not hard at all. I do not transport any components home (inner bowl, plastic lid) so I can’t speak to ease of use in that aspect. Note: After my first 1-2 uses, the inner lid experienced shrinkage and no longer fits as tightly as it did out of the box. It only bothers me when the contents heat up and the lid lifts off from steam. The outer screw top continues to keep everything secure inside. It might be a mess if I moved it around but I don’t. Would buy again!

I’ve had my little blue food warmer for nearly a year now. It is THE BEST THING! I got it when I was on a mostly soup diet as it promised to heat up my soup at my desk and not make it nuclear hot like the suns surface like the microwave does. I have used this to do everything from keep melted cheese melted and warm. To bringing my lunch almost everyday. Lunches including mashed potatoes and sausage, soups / chili con carne, rice sand teriyaki chicken, steak pre cut with veggies. And so much more !! Now it doesn’t get warm enough to cook food in my opinion but it does an excellent job of evenly warming I put in it evenly in the 5 hours of me getting to work and plugging it in before lunch. I just put the food into the silver bowl place lid and pop in fridge. Then I place that bowl into the warmer once I get to work. It turns on when you plug it in then off when you unplug it. Just the best thing ever!

Cumple perfectamente con la necesidad que tenia de calentar la comida en oficina. No deja hirviendo la comida, pero si a una temperatura caliente para ingerirse facilmente. Muy práctica, una de las mejores compras que he hecho.

surprisingly large capacity and brilliant little crock pot. i love how it heats up left overs so much better than an oven or microwave, as they do not dry out.

With all the Covid restrictions the microwaves were removed from the lunch room. This little crock has made a very nice replacement. I bring my soup, put it in the crock pot and by noon it is hot and ready to eat. Very good value.

Bought this for my son who is on the road a lot for work ( he has an adapter for car). He told me his lunch was hot in a reasonable time and the portion size was perfect so very happy!! Perfect for lunch at work!

Works perfect. Put my homemade soup in the pot in the fridge over night. Popped it in the crock pot and took it to work. Plugged it in and by lunch it was the perfect eating temp.
