Vibrant color and super easy to use
We have used this product for years. My daughter loves colored hair and weโre not ready for more permanent options or bleaching just yet. Pinky is really easy to use and leaves great color. It washes out after a few weeks to months while maintaining its vibrancy.

Intense red, even on medium-brown hair
PRE-TREAT THE SKIN AROUND YOUR HAIRLINE & USE GLOVES as described in the directions!!! Even with these precautions, I had a little pink discoloration but it wasn't terrible. Also, despite what I thought was thorough rinsing, the first towel I used was slightly discolored. The next morning, after a shampoo & conditioning, no bleeding. My hair is normally medium brown, and I did not bleach before use. The vermillion resulted in an intense red which is obviously present but not clownish. (I suspect that had I bleached first, it would be clown-nose-red.) The longest part of my hair is about 5" now and I used about half the container of dye, left it on the full 30 minutes. As a side note, this smells good, even before the bottle is opened. The only downsides I see: takes 30 minutes of sitting; slightly expensive; less than permanent.

Great Color, Some notes to get the best out of it
I was scowering Amazon for a easy, non toxic smelling hair dye that would wash-out eventually. When I read the reviews and came across this, I thought I'd give it a shot. Now, I am a person who uses box dyes on my hair (a cardinal sin, I know)- a lot. I dye my hair constantly. However since beginning of this year I have only dyed it once. So for Labor Day weekend I thought, what the heck- lets do a dye that will be easier on my hair. This stuff did not disappoint. PROS: -Color is a VIBE, it pops. I had hair that was half blonde, half light brown- and this worked great and shown after the initial dye. -Easy to apply- (put on some gloves for this cause or else you gonna be scrubbin it off your hands for a hot minute), however it was quick and painless to apply by myself. -Did not smell toxic at all, smelt like berries or something. -Color so far (two weeks) has lasted long after 5 hair washes in that time. I am using color-safe shampoo and conditioner. CONS -This stuff BLEEDS, and I mean Bleeds. If you don't use some oxi clean on your sheets, be prepared for that. It will wash out though, especially if you take care of it right away. On regular surfaces bleach cleaner knocks it out instantly. -I used the whole bottle on my hair- now I have THICK medium/shoulder length hair. The whole bottle was barely enough- next time I'll probably get two to be safe. Some notes: -After reading A LOT of reviews, i did the following and it worked well for me: 1) I used gloves when applying and tossed a "hair dye" towel over my shoulders. 2) I left it in for 2.5hrs- some reviews left it in longer but i am impatient. 3) When I rinsed it out I did it under cold water and i was in the shower for around 30 minutes just making sure I got it all out- give your head a little scrub with your hands too as it'll sit on your scalp in parts (as most dyes do). 4) I wore gloves when I rinsed it out as well, I did not get any color on my hands and honestly if you don't want that headaches, just wear some latex gloves. 5) I have a tub/shower combo and the tub/ curtain looked stained. In a panic I used some bleach cleaner and sprayed it on- came back in 5 minutes and it was all gone before I even scrubbed. Highly recommend that. 6) My biggest mistake was probably not using ANY shampoo and conditioner after first rinsing the dye out of my hair ( I didn't have any sulfate free or color safe at the time). When it dried it got all over my clothes, and my sheets. Not a TON but you know, enough to notice on light colors. I think this is were I messed up. 7) After I finally did a few washes with color safe shampoo/conditioner (i used dove brand) the bleeding onto items was significantly less. I would recommend using color safe conditioner during the first rinse and then color safe shampoo/conditioner every rinse after. It will still bleed in the shower every time you put shampoo in- but its not a lot/big deal as it is meant to rinse out in 25+ washes. 8) Don't wear light clothes with it until after maybe your 5th wash...trust me you'll thank me later. 9) the tip they give you when you buy it on the label it use aquaphor or vasaline on your hairline/ears is a lifesaver- do that. 10) if you have medium/long hair get two of these little jars- one is only enough for short and some types of medium hair length. Definitely get this is you want some fun color that won't last forever or need to bleach your hair for. My hair is dirty blonde/ more blonde on the bottom and it looks as vibrant as if I had bleached it. Great product overall! Will buy again to try some other colors!

Woah??
So, I used this back in April and JUST did it again a few weeks ago all over again. That picture is today after about five hair washings. YES, when you wash your hair or it gets wet the color will start coming off (I've had red years ago as well). It's easy to deposit onto the hair (gloves to dye, stains EVERYTHING) and it's super soft and beautiful. It's conditioning which is soft. One container has done my whole head but I always buy two as a just in case! Definitely gonna wanna try more colors!!!

That it does stain clothes but itโs worth it
This stuff is amazing. Absolutely love it. I donโt think Iโll ever see my natural color again. I went with the vermilion red and itโs fire. The smell is amazing too. Like cherry koolaid. Will be moving to pink next awesome will buy again

Hair no more Red, but my tub is now a lovely shade of Pink.
Honestly this was my WORST hair coloring experience. I bought Vermillion Red to help boost the pre-existing red permanent color in my hair that was beginning to fade. This color added no noticeable addition in color to my hair, but my scalp and tub are stained red. It instantly stained my tub the moment I started rinsing out my hair. I spend more time scrubbing the tub after than I did actually coloring my hair. Every other of them 5 times I dyed my hair red, with permanent color no less, the dye just rinsed right off when splashed with water. Also it recommends gloves inside the label but doesnโt come with them like most dyes. You can see in the air picture that my nails are still stained, and even after scrubbing the dye from my skin. All in all, if your hair is not bleached the color wonโt really be noticeable and not worth it. And then make sure you block off enough time to scrub on your hands and knees with bleach (a few times), or just go outside with a water hose to rinse the color out to avoid staining.

Diverse colors
Ive been using Punky Volor for years now. It doesnt stain the tub, it stays in awesome, but it fades beautifully too. Almost all of the colors mix well together also. The yellow and vermillion red make a beautiful orange. The emerald green and yellow make a crazy lime color. The flamingo ping and violet makes a BEAUTIFUL purple. The colors start off deep and dark, and then fade to a bright neon color, then fade to beautiful pastels. I get compliments through all fazes of the hair coloring. 100% reccomend.

Great color, lasts very long
Lasts for sooo long. Even after multiple washes. Really pretty color red too. Look at size though, picture is size deceiving, itโs super small. But overall a great product.

Good product
Quantity is a little less. However, the colour was vibrant. It lasted quite a few washes and faded nicely too. The scent was also good.

Doesn't last
Disappointed. It barely lasted 2 washes when I have not had that issue with more well known brands. I was excited for this and then became quickly disappointed

It works!
It works on coloured hair or naturally light coloured hair. My hair is naturally black but I've been dyeing it red for a few month and this product gave me the red kick that I've been looking for. It also saved me money as I dont have to go to the salon as often which used to be once a month. Just be careful when applying it because it does stain. It left a pinkish tone on my white bath tub.
