I am the Comptroller for 3 large auto dealerships, and handle sensitive information all day, every day. I have dual monitors and lots of windows, so I needed something to ensure privacy and these screens work great! Coworkers joke that I sit there all day, staring at a blank screen pretending to work. One has to be directly in front of the monitor to see anything.I did not give a rating for 'brightness', because I do not believe these are meant to be 'bright'. Mine are somewhat tinted, which reduces glare from the windows.Others in my building were so impressed that they asked me to order them some as well.

I got these for my monitors at work, since I deal with sensitive information. These work great for that. People will be able to see your screen if they are standing directly behind you, but if they walk by or are standing at your desk, they won't be able to read what is on your screen. The quality is good. I used the tabs to hold the screen on my monitor. One trick I figured out is to slightly bend the tabs in towards the monitor screen BEFORE you apply them, this will keep the screen close to your monitor and will make it easier to see what is on your monitor screen.

I tried installing the screen both ways with the adhesives on the monitor and with the plastic side holders. Neither worked. The screen has a very dark blue tint that hurt the eyes and the screen didn't stay adhered to the monitor making the text on the monitor extremely blurry. If this were cheaper I'd probably keep it and use it occasionally but the quality of the product did not justify the price tag. I'm returning it.

We have had this for several months- plenty of time to test it out. It’s perfect. In our medical office, we have a new patient kiosk where the patients sign in. It has a touch screen, so that is why I chose this particular privacy screen. We have had no issues with that- this privacy screen works great with the touch screen. Hanging it up on the monitor was no problem because the directions were clear. As soon as I hung it up on the monitor I knew it was going to solve our privacy problem. This privacy screen works well for us because we don’t want other people in the waiting room to see private information such as name, birthdate and health issues when the patients sign in for their appointment. When I help patients sign in for the first time, I have to stand right next to them to see the screen because this privacy screen does its job. Even at a slight angle the screen is black and private to anyone else, which is perfect. We positioned the monitor so that most people in the waiting room are at an angle to the monitor, and the screen looks black to them. There is just one single spot in the waiting room where someone behind that person - across the room- could potentially squint across the waiting room and see what is on the screen. If they could even see it that small. You have to be directly in line with the monitor to see it so only someone directly behind and above their shoulders could see what is on the screen. We tested it out and concluded that when a person is standing at the kiosk, their body would actually block the screen from the person sitting behind them in the waiting room while they are signing in. Plus it is far away. This privacy screen does exactly what we want it to do - keep patient information private- and it was a great purchase for our office. As far as brightness is concerned, it’s really ok. It’s only slightly less bright than the regular monitor. It’s worth it. We have a lot of elderly patients and everyone has been able to see it and sign in just fine. I recommend it!

This screen does not perform as described. The screen is supposed to appear dark to anyone not sitting directly in front of it. While it does make the screen appear black to someone standing way off to the side, anyone standing within a 45 degree radius behind you can see everything on the screen. This does not meet my needs. It does make the screen VERY dark.

The sizes were prefect for the screen. The measurement guide works well. They keep my screens private and I love hearing all the complaints when people tell me my screens aren't even on and I should do some work for once.The down side...The brightness after the screens are on is so low. Some would say that it's great it is less eye strain but when your eyes are bad like mine you need that extra brightness.The adhesives borders. The films are not rigid so they slump, slouch, and lean causing the view to get impaired when the tab borders are used.The adhesive sticky pads work but not as well as they should. With a 24" wide screen monitor you can't just simply put 1 in each corner like they show on the diagram. You have to put 3 across the top and 3 across the bottom to hold it up and stop it from falling down or off. It wouldn't be so bad but this wasn't found out after I had already used only 4 in the corners so attempting to add that extra hold in the middle proved difficult and the sticky tab can be seen and distorts the screen a bit where it is.All in all they do exactly what they are supposed to but aren't perfect

I'm winging it, it is 2 inches too short but vertically it works great and fit like a glove. I used the adhesive stickers and it's already helping my eye sight. I always get tired eyes and doing too much sepia in app form will also give you eye strain. I definitely recommend it, although buy the right size! LOL If mine were 24" It would be fully private, but I mainly bought it to take down the harsh blue light.

The instructions are vague, the stick on tabs are difficult to work with. Make sure you have long finger nails to remove the sticky side of the tabs. The thing that bothers me the most is the fact that it does not work well, i can see the screen better from 6 feet away than when I'm 20 inches in front of computer screen. This item will be returned ASAP, it does not work, it only dims the computer screen.

THE SIZE WAS WRONGLY ADVERTISED as it did not fit the monitor correctly.
