My WRX STI wheel was starting to peel off in one area (common issue with Subaru) I wanted to stop it deteriorating further. I looked into buying a replacement carbon fibre wheel but having read all the positive feedback decided to try this as a stop gap. I’m amazed at the fit and quality of this cover for such a reasonable price and am more than happy with it. The only other option was forking out £350-£500 for a new wheel or sewing a cover on which wasn’t something I’d be comfortable doing. Installation took minutes after heating it up as recommended. Great buy at a bargain price.

I don’t often write reviews but felt I had to for this purchase. I have a Mercedes GLC 2016. It fitted perfectly and looks great. The quality is really good also. So appreciation were it’s due. Would recommend it all day long.

Looks good, fits the flat bottomed Focus ST steering wheel nicely, and provides good protection for years to come (for the steering wheel leather). One minus is the shiny carbon fibre look surfaces top and bottom of the wheel: there is little to no grip, especially with dry hands like mine. Not a disaster, but, a grippier material would have been more useful in my opinion.

Lieferung: Nicht alle Varianten waren mit dem Prime Versand möglich. Ich wollte nicht wochenlang auf die Lieferung warten, also habe ich mich für diese Hülle entschieden, die Prime angeboten hat. Lieferung erfolgte dadurch schnell (2 Tage). Die Verpackung war zwar groß aber da die der Bezug nicht gefaltet war, ist die Größe des Kartons daher akzeptabel. Verarbeitung & Qualität: Auf dem ersten Blick hat der Lenkradbezug eine tolle Verarbeitung. Der Carbon-ähnliche Teil oben und unten ist mit einer Art Klarlack bezogen und fühlt sich glatt an. Links und rechts ist der Bezug mit einer Art perforiertem Leder ausgestattet und fühlt sich relativ weich und vor allem gut an. Später ist mir an einer roten Ampel aber aufgefallen, dass der Carbon-bereich unten eine Art Brandfleck hat, so groß wie ein halber Fingernagel. Aber da mir das nicht sofort aufgefallen ist, ist es nicht so deutlich und auch nicht so schlimm. Montage: die Montage ist etwas schwierig, aber nicht unmöglich. Ich habe mit der 12 Uhr Position angefangen und mich links und rechts gleichzeitig in Richtung 6 Uhr vorgearbeitet. Man muss etwas Kraft anwenden, aber dafür hält der Bezug dann sehr fest. Angebracht habe ich den Bezug an einem VW Polo GTI OPF BJ. 2020. Die roten Schaltwippen sind übrigens von H-Customs, aus echtem Carbon in rot. Haptik während der Fahrt: ich liebe das Gefühl eines dicken Lenkrades. Damit wurden meine Erwartungen erfüllt und der Bezug fühlt sich sehr gut an. Zudem schont man sein eigentliches Lenkrad vor Abnutzung. Alles in allem 5 Sterne.

Looks great and fits just right. It wasn't a huge pain in the ass to put on like some of these can be. I was having trouble finding a steering wheel cover for the 2017 Camaro SS because of the flat shaped bottom, then I came across this while looking through Amazon and it fits perfectly.
