LEGO Jurassic World: Legend of Isla Nublar [DVD]

Excellent Purchase and excellent movie!!!

Update 7/3/2021:Yep, I lied. We've definitely watched this again and again! Glad we have the hard copy of the show.We're die hard Lego Jurassic and Jurassic Park/World fans, so when we heard Lego was making a show we were so excited! We were bummed when we couldn't watch it until it was released on DVD, because we don't have access to Nickelodeon. I ordered this as a surprise for my almost 5 YO during quarantine instead of waiting for his birthday, who has waited 8 months to see this, hoping it was the TV show. Aside from the look of the case online, I couldn't exactly find anything specifically saying this was the show - but yes, these are all the episodes from the show!As for the show, it's got a nice little twist on it being a prequel to the first JW movie and still some great humor for adults if you've seen the rest of the franchise. A couple interesting new characters, hilarious takes on old ones and the new dinosaurs are definitely the show stoppers. The new Lego sets released before the show aired definitely make actual sense after watching the show now. It's not a show we will watch again and again like we do with the Indominus Escapes (seriously GOLD!) but as fans of Lego and JW, we loved seeing characters develop and the continued hilarity of Masrani and Vick Hoskins, as well as what actually goes on in Wu's lab. While my son definitely enjoyed the dino parts the most, they could have had just a little more screen time, especially the allosaurus. Lego if you're reading, we're ready for season 2 and PLEASE RELEASE the allosaurus!

We have loved all the lego movies we have seen so far. They are so entertaining.

I didn’t know this before buying, but it’s actually a 2 set DVD. Tons of shows on there I want to say about 13 episodes? And Lego movies always throw in clean humor for adults too...so I got sucked into the show as well as my kids lol. Better than any $5 movie bin find. If your little likes Legos or Jurassic World, this is a definite keeper!

When I got this DVD, I was expecting some random adventures that was non-canon (even though it technically is) and I wouldn't have fun. Boy was I wrong! This 13 episode mini-series takes place only a few weeks after the events of The Secret Exhibit, and the way they take mature things from the films to create a scrapping good story is too good to resist. Although some episodes I thought fleshed out not only plot, but character development to show who the said characters are. I ended up binge watching this in one day, and I am glad I did. However, they did miss a special short that should have been Part of the DVD: Everything's Under Control. It helps build the background as to how some stuff happened. But I was left blown away.

My son is obsessed! Lego version allows him to enjoy the dinosaur facts with a great action packed story without the violence and language seen in the original Jurassic movies. He’s hoping for season 2.

I have honestly never heard of this show, but my JW and Lego loving 8yo son is very happy. Keeps him interested and easy for him to follow along.

The kids and I were excited to watch this new LEGO movie. It had a lot of get stories to watch. Worked perfect! No scratches and arrived fine
