Cheap and cheerful. does the job it is advertised to do. Not everyone like a digital meter.

This little meter is the old fashioned analogue ( moving coil) type which has been around for a century or more! I bought it for my granddaughter's school project, thinking nothing can go wrong, and because it was the lowest price.Unfortunately the meter needle changed its reading a lot if you tilted the unit, and it stuck as a particular point as it went up to its reading. It had to be tapped to make it work again. Conclusion: the moving coil mechanism was unbalanced and poorly assembled.But that's not all. As usual you have to fit a battery to measure ohms- but AA cell didn't fit. Well it did fit if you pressed it hard- but that only made the plastic case bulge- so that you could not screw the back of the case on.Probably this was a 'worst case' production failure- but I wasn't going to take the risk with a replacement.I returned it and Amazon issued a prompt refund

I wanted another analogue meter - already have a digital meter but prefer the analogue needle to a digital readout. This comes without batteries (health & safety apparently). Seems to do the job OK but is rather flimsy and not too well made, so not expecting it to last as long as previous meters. Par for the course at this price point I suppose.

Excellent service and delivery. However, the unit itself is far smaller than I was expecting and I wouldn't be happy using it on mains voltages. The unit also requires an AA battery which is not indicated as far as I could see. All functions work correctly

I retuned this as soon as I seen it. Very poor quality would not feel safe using it

Basic multimeter not best quality but easy to use . I would buy again
