I’ve been using the Nespresso Vertuo Next Coffee and Espresso Maker by De'Longhi every morning, and it’s been a game-changer for my coffee routine. This machine is so easy to use — just pop in a pod and hit the button. It quickly makes everything from espresso shots to full-size mugs with a rich flavor and crema I didn’t expect from a pod machine. The slim design fits nicely on my counter and doesn’t take up much space, which is perfect for small kitchens. It also brews consistently great coffee every time, with minimal cleanup — the automatic capsule recognition takes all the guesswork out of brewing. The only minor downside is that you’ll need to buy Vertuo-specific pods, which are a bit pricier than other brands — but I think the quality and convenience are worth it. My journey towards owning my nespresso started 6 months ago when I first began browsing Amazon for espresso machines. I quickly became overwhelmed at the sheer amount of options, the exorbitant prices of many, and the less than stellar reviews of the options within my initial budget. Without settling on any one in particular, I went back to using my keurig style machine and spending $30 week at Starbucks. September came about and with the busting time of year, schook started and my work as a beautician picked up greatly. I needed espresso and the coffee pids at home weren't cutting it. I'll partially blame my 3 year old who learned the phrase "pumpkin loaf" and started demanding a Starbucks trip each morning for the ridiculous amount of money I found myself spending each week. I almost completely stopped using my coffee maker at home. That prime sale we had in early October came about and I once again considered buying an espresso machine. I knew i didn't want to become a barista... my life is busy and I need simplicity but stellar morning lattees as well. The nespresso was on sale about $50, much closer to my modest $100 budget, and the reviews were the BEST within the under $200 range. It's easily been the BEST purchase I've made all year! It came with a sampler set of some delicious capsules that helped me find some favorites (chiaro and bianco doppio), and i love how fast it produces a delicious double espresso! It's to die for! The crema is delicious and thick! And the best part is I've barely spent any money onStarbucks! I use some steaned oatmilk and a dash of splenda to make my morning lattes and they taste better than what i woukd order from coffee houses and are much healthier and lower in sugar! I've bragged about my nespresso to almost everyone i know, and I'm excited to make a cup of yumminess for any of my family and friends who stop by. My morning and afternoon lattees are so easy to make and within no time I'm enjoying delicious pick me up! The machine is unlike anything I've used before but extremely simple to get the hang of and start using. There is an app you can download and connect your nespresso to via Bluetooth that can help you with functioning, troubleshooting, brewing and ordering more capsules. They even have recipes on these! I highly recommend this machine and cant believe I went so long without it! If you want a simple system, that's affordable and produces delicious espresso and coffee beverages, this model is for YOU! It will pay for itself within the first 1.5 months in my case.

Terrible customer service. I want to return this machine, unused coffee and exit the ‘club’. This machine failed after 6 months. I really wanted to enjoy this coffee machine. The Nespresso club’ has access to some very good coffee. It is pricy… on the order of $100-130 per month in pods. I liked the recycling aspect of sending the spent cartridges in. And again when the machine works, the variety of type and size brew was excellent… then about 5 months after purchasing… things went south. First it threw a descaling warning by way of the flashing orange light on top of the machine. So I bought the descaling solution and flushed the machine like the support video showed. It worked for about a week. Then would only produce one cup of coffee and need to be flushed for 30 ounces. That got old fast. This went on for about a week. At best, I could get maybe 3 cups of 7.7 ounces or one 18 ounce carafe between flushes for about 3 weeks. Then this week, the app said the machine needed to be descaled again and it only flashed orange lights. So I descaled it again and flushed the machine according to the support videos, and I was able to get about 5 ounces of coffee out of a 7.7 ounce pod. Then the light was flashing orange again. I looked at the app and it said “an issue occurred error 1760”. This afternoon I called the support number from the app, and was able to explain my situation with the machine. When I got to the part to explain to the telephone support operator that I was disappointed with it all, he hung up on me! I called back and got a different technician and she listened politely, but told me that my machine was probably stuck in the descaling cycle and I needed to flush it at least ten more times! I’ve been flushing this thing daily at this point!! I asked her about error code 1760 and she said that she didn’t have access to the error codes, but it was probably a descaling problem and I needed to flush it at least ten more times. I then asked her for warranty details and she said that she couldn’t help me with the warranty situation unless I flushed at as prescribed and if the issue persisted I should call back. This evening when I got home, I found about 20 ounces of cold coffee puddled under the machine. I am never buying a Nespresso product again. At this point all I want is a return shipping label and a refund for the $100 of unused coffee I have from this month’s purchase… never again Nespresso!

this item is a must have if you drink alot of expresso. I bought this as a gift and they just love it. They use it all the time.

Love the machine; just wish the pods were less expensive!

I’ve used a Nespresso machine for many years, and I like this Vertuo version. Fairly compact and makes excellent coffee and espresso. I thought I’d try a “like new” used version from Amazon and saved at least $70. While it works, the closing latch is a little tricky, which is why I’m guessing someone else returned it. I have to perfectly line up the lever on top to the open position to then close it (otherwise, it won’t close). It’s a minor issue and I’m still glad I tried the used version for the $$ savings.

Liked the speed of delivery, ease of use and competitive price

Loved the Machine. This is my 4th Nespresso for the house. Best coffee machine ever !!!
