I’ve tried so much Biltong over the years and this is hands down the best I’ve ever had. If you like fatty, wet Biltong, this is for you. It’s not dry which isn’t for some people, but it’s perfect for me. Absolutely delicious!

When you order "fatty" biltong and you get it exactly as described it is a wonderful day! Getting plenty of fat is extremely rare and it is shame because it adds such flavour - but this product is fantastic!I ordered 1 kg and they came in 250g bags which is perfect for keeping things sealed and fresh.Well packaged and presented in a branded box and delivered very quickly.I will definitely be back and I highly recommend!

Vert tasty and not dry

Product quality from Amazon is much better than ordered from their own website. I ordered same thing from their website but they are not as fat as what I ordered from here. The pics posted by other buyers made me curious about the quality from two platforms. They must be providing better quality products to Amazon. I don't dislike the one from their website but the one I ordered from here is much more 'juicy' and moisture.

I eat a lot of biltong, or rather I should say that I *ate* a lot of biltong: spending the money on this disgusting stuff has put me off buying any more. As others have said, it's basically a bag of raw meat... but it's not even good raw meat, it's about 50% gristle and collagen, more-or-less inedible. The only thing that makes it even partly bearable is running it through a dehydrator for a few hours, which makes the 50% that isn't gristle just about edible, albeit that it's then poorly-flavoured jerky.I've bought almost every brand of biltong available on Amazon, and this is the worst by such a large margin that it's not even a competition. I can't remember having ever been so appalled by a product: avoid, avoid, avoid.

I was desperate to like this because my usual source of biltong takes longer to arrive and is more expensive, but this is pretty average and too salty. In summary:- Fat levels are ok but not great- It's pretty dry; not as dry as supermarket stuff but nowhere near wet- It's sliced too thinly for my taste--but I guess that's because it's dry- It's too salty--I really notice my mouth drying out as I eat itOn balance I'd give it 2.5 stars; 2 might seem miserly but I can't bring myself to give it 3.

Oh my god. This is by far the best biltong I've ever bought, that I can remember anyway. The flavour is quite subtle, definitely not that overpowering vinegar taste that seems common.When they say it's fatty, it's not all fat. Most of it is decent moist meat, but the fatty bits are hugely fatty, just what I love tbh.

All I can say is yum yum and yum.Perfect fat to meat ratio and I just can't get enough. If you love biltong and need a meat fix this is the stuff for you.Great service and comes in solid packaging to protect your biltong from getting damaged.Give it a try before I buy all the stock :)
