Like a miracle cure for dry skin!
The short: Wool Wax Creme heals dry & damaged skin like nobody's business. It absorbs quickly, and leaves skin feeling clean, smooth & healthy. The story on why I treasure this product: My mother was a painter who worked with plenty of solutions which dried out her hands terribly. For YEARS, her hands were so dried and cracked that her fingers would frequently bleed. (She went through a LOT of band-aids.) When she told me she finally found something that actually worked for healing her deeply damaged skin, I was thrilled for her... but I was SHOCKED when I saw how soft and healthy her hands had become, only some weeks after I'd watched her apply band-aids to almost every finger. I assumed this Wool Wax Creme she was using was expensive (and perhaps required a prescription?). When I needed something for my own drying hands, she was more than happy to share it with me, but I didn't want to waste it, so I'd fill a small container to bring some home with me and I used it sparingly. A little went a long way, after all. When my mother suggested one day that I take a jar home with me, I scoffed: "No way! You need this stuff way more than I do. Isn't it really expensive??" She laughed and said "No, silly. I've got tons; just take it!" So I did, but it wasn't until I got to the bottom of that jar before I finally looked it up to see if I could afford a new jar.... Oh jeez. What an idiot. My mother's miracle balm is inexpensive, and readily available?? Ok, but you have to understand: My mother's painting practice was FULL of rare, expensive and specialized materials & solutions, like: Egg Tempera Medium, Rabbit Skin Glue, Mineral Spirits, Gold Leaf, and shelves lined with colorful bags of pure raw pigments ground from rare stones & elements from around the globe. The idea that her hand creme would be a specialized product... that really wasn't a ridiculous assumption for me to make. Still. Even though it doesn't cost me much at all to keep a tube or a jar of Wool Wax Creme in every room of my house, it still feels like a luxury. (A luxury I highly recommend.)

Skin saver!
This was gifted to me from one of my friends in Montana. And this has been a skin saver! I love it so much! The price, the amount of product you get, it was literally filled to the rim, and how quickly it absorbs into the skin. I have a big size and travel size for my purse. Definately sonething to consider if you have dry skin! It's thinner than something like pods cold cream, and is not greasy. I really love this stuff.

I love this product....
This is a great product. It goes on easily, doesn’t take much, and is absorbed quickly. There is no lingering greasy feeling, which is so common in other creams. My hands and skin are already better with much less dryness. I was a bit concerned after reading several comments on the scent but, honestly, I don’t have a problem. There is a very slight aroma that disappeared after a few seconds.... the closest I can come to describing it is “clean”.... it was negligible and not at all an issue. Even petroleum jelly has an aroma, to me, and this is way less than that! Bottom line, recommend it for those with dry hands and skin.

Soothing
I work with yarn a lot, especially during these pandemic days. Between frequent hand washing and crocheting, my hands became so dry they were almost cracking. I tried several different lotions but they had very temporary effects. I recalled a booth at a Mountain Craft Days in PA where wives from several sheep farms sold something similar to Wool Wax, saying it was preferred by hand crafters, so I ordered it. I'm delighted with the results. It's thick, smells a little like wool (not unpleasant at all), and makes my hands soft and comfortable again. It's a lot less expensive than lotions that were advertised to be effective, too. Such a relief, all the way around!

Absolute Must!!
This creme is fantastic!! My doctor recommended this to me because nothing works for my hands that crack and bleed all the time. This works better than anything else I have used.

I have used Wool Wax for many years.
Wool wax is good for my skin, but I buy it more for when I am spinning fine fibers. Makes the skin soft and fills in the small cracks so that fine wool etc. fibers do not catch. Great use for wool grease to be used.
