Not bad , Inexpensive , will work well , wont last for 30 years , But they do a great job

These are very good trays. I loaded them down with 18 4” transplants of tomatoes. They were watered well so heavy. I carried from my potting area to my greenhouse without any problems. No twisting from a weak tray. These should hold up for a while. Very sturdy. I bought another set after I used some of these in this first bunch.

These trays are large, sturdy, and well-made—just make sure you order from Barefoot Farmer as the seller. I bought two packs from them in April 2024 and was really impressed with the quality. This month, I accidentally ordered a 10-pack from a different (sponsored) seller. While the trays look similar in the pictures, they were much thinner and flimsier in person. It’s hard to see the difference in the pics, but I promise the quality isn’t the same. I reached out to Barefoot Farmer, and they confirmed their product hasn’t changed. I returned the flimsy ones and reordered from them - so glad I did! Great product, great communication, and they fit 15–17 four-inch pots or 8 six-inch pots perfectly.

I used them to help keep soil moist during seed germination. Durable for a single layer. Fits well on 10 x 20 heat mats, grooves seem helpful for humidity and bottom-up watering. Seems to conduct heat well enough for a heat mat to still help. It could be a bit stronger, otherwise a good product.

I was a little hesitant when I purchased these trays, due to some of the reviews saying the trays were flimsy, but I took a chance anyway and I ordered my first set on May 1, 2024. That set of trays was nice and sturdy and I thought maybe people just have different levels of flimsy. With the tray full, I could easily carry the tray with one hand on each side (holding the short sides) and move the trays as needed. I ordered the next set on June 27, 2024, and this set is terrible. There is a huge difference in quality. These trays are soo thin, I need to take everything out of the trays to move them. Even when I try to carry them with my hands on the long sides, the trays can barely hold two pounds of weight. I need more trays and will probably order from the same company instead of risking it with another company. Hopefully they read this message and do some quality control. If/when I make my next order, I will update this review. I added a photo of the two trays. The tray on the left (mango seedlings) is from the first set I ordered, and the tray on the right (avocado cuttings) is from the second set. I put a 2x4 under one edge, and as you can see from the picture, the tray on the right is bending. If I lift both trays any higher, I'm sure the tray on the right will buckle and the tray on the left will be just fine. Update: 7/24/24 Ordered another set of trays on 7/20 and received them today 7/25. These trays are similar to my first order so I increased the stars from 1 to 3 stars. If you order these trays, check the sturdiness before you start using them, if they are not sturdy, return them or you will be disappointed like me. I have no idea how else to deal with this quality issue other than to make an order and be sure to check the sturdiness as soon as they come in. This method sucks, but for the price, I am willing to put up with a little inconvenience.

These trays are so cool and extremely useful if you are into growing plants. i ordered 20 trays to grow bur oak trees from seed. I've never considered myself a green thumb but after reading up on the plant i tried to grow some oaks and i put them into 8 ounce cups and fit 260 into the trays. Now i literally have a forest growing in my house. i love it!! they work perfect to place the plants into and water from the bottom. maybe not the ost conventional way to do it but it works great for what i am doing with them. Thank you very much for them !! you can see one of the trays filled with oak trees in the video i uploaded.

Las charolas sin orificios llegaron más tarde de la fecha ofrecida. El producto fue enviado desde China y sólo fue empacado en una bolsa de plástico azul, ni siquiera en caja de cartón! Por lo que llegaron las charolas deformes, fusionadas, agrietadas e inservibles. Fue verdaderamente una decepción el haberlas recibido en esas condiciones! :(
