Is it easy to fill from the spout? Someone said it was hard to do.

I have no problem filling from the spout, but it is much easier to remove the lid and fill it. This is a great tea pot. Very easy to clean and heats up quickly. You won’t be disappointed.

Best if you wipe down the underside of the cover after use

I suppose it depends on your definition of loud. It's loud enough to get your attention but not super loud or too shrill to be annoying.

It is not as a loud as my 40-year-old tea pot that started leaking. However, it does whistle, and I can definitely hear it in all the rooms in my house.
