Is this Japanese A5? Does it come with certificate?

The picture is not. The meat you get from the company is. The A5 is a darker color. And with more fat. And always comes with a certification usually with a nose print on it. Wagyu A5 is not like any other kind of steak it needs to be cooked with specific temperatures and specific timing to come out right. And if done right it should melt away in your mouth !!!

Don’t you need a Japanese “grill pan” for the grill? It seems to me,that’s a must with all the fat?

I grilled it on an electric grill and it was not good! Too much fat with hardly any flavor. Disappointing.

Why are there several reviews that state that what they got was not A5 and also stating that you admitted it wasn't Japanese A5?

It is A5，Most people dont know anying about wagyu，the best beef in the world，marbling texture and the rich flavor

Why would anyone pay $599.00 for any kind of meat?

Because I like FAT! And because I'm too cheap to pay $999.00 for the REALLY good stuff!
