Initial rating = 5*, revised based on issues (see below) = 2*, further revised based on customer service = 5* Bought and installed this 4 summers ago. Loved it initially; it looks really nice, works great, etc. Four years later and I'm extremely frustrated...the surface coating is now flaking off badly and the bare underlying metal is now showing on approximately 25% of the overall surface area. It started doing this the second summer but wasn't too noticeable. Last summer was worse but still tolerable. Fourth summer and it's now an eyesore and I'm embarrassed to have my neighbors see it. I either need to check the warranty to have it replaced or worse yet, start over and buy something new again. For what it's worth, I'm in the suburbs of Chicago in case climate was the driving factor for its short longevity. I would appreciate responses if others have had similar experiences, especially if you were able to reach any resolution with the manufacturer with respect to the warranty or anything else. He proactively called me the next morning to follow up. I sent him pictures of the issues we are having. This was the first time he had seen an issue like this and volunteered to make it right (I didn't even ask). He is shipping us a new mailbox. I'm truly impressed and my faith in customer service took a significant step back towards the positive end of the spectrum.

These mailboxes look great for about 1 year. Then they start to fall apart and the company is not responsive. Does not care. Don't try to order parts to fix from them either. Its a joke.

This is even more grand in person. We bought it to replace a very old one that came with our new house. Everyone who walked by commented on how nice it was and where they could get one. My husband chose to sink it in concrete and that worked very well for us. It can be mounted several different ways. It really is the nicest mail box in the neighborhood. We bought the house #s sold by the same company and really liked them as well. Everything was made very well.

Fast shipment. Well packaged. Good product. Unfortunately I bought this to replace a stranger's mailbox I broke while backing up along a curb in a friend's neighborhood. Assembly was straightforward. Installation was also not a problem (assuming you have basic handyman skills). It's well-built but I'm knocking off one star for how the red mail flag mounts and stays in place. Basically it is heals in place by friction of a couple of rubber washers on either side of the flag. You tighten the flag bolt down until you slightly "squish/squeeze" the flag tightly. When you raise the flag it stays up because it is squeezed between the washers. Otherwise great product. A nice feature is that the front mail door uses both a spring return to close it (very strong, AND magnets embedded in the box to keep it closed. That's a quality product. Nice features by the designer that cost them more in manufacturing but certainly outs a mark of quality on the product.

When I saw the price on this gorgeous decorative mailbox I hesitated to purchase as it seemed too good to be true. When it arrived it was even larger, more solid and beautiful than I had expected. Every detail is exquisite and made to last. There is nothing to put together except a few screws in the mailbox and 4 anchor bolts to a slab. The package arrived in two sections within days of ordering - much sooner than expected. Don't hesitate, you will love it!

I love my mailbox it is the most beautiful letter box I’ve seen. Installing was a breeze. I waited a while to find the right mailbox and this got 10 stars from me. Exceptional…

Reviewed in the United States on June 3, 2025 I just assembled and installed one like this. Here is the "good, the bad, and the ugly." 1. Good. Handsome unit as viewed. 2. Bad: - The two bolts that hold the box positioned to the podestral will leak rain water into the box unless sealed. There are no washers or sealant from mfgr. - Assembling is a nightmare. It is a two-person job. Why? The unit with a mail box is huge, heavy and care must be given when positioning to assemble. There are three essential bolts with nuts that must be installed inside the box where viewing is impossible. One must feel for the inserted bolt, feel to install a washer, and feel to carefully thread the nut to the bolt. The nut, if dropped in the process, can enter a channel where attempts to retrieve it can be slim. I had to stop and travel to a hardware store to buy replacements. Original hardware stainless steel with mm settings. May be difficult to find in hardware store. - Seller's web site lists multiple customer testimonials that I consider BS. Yes, the finished installation is attractive, but little to nothing is said about assembly. Most probable result: hire a contractor to assemble and install. - unit is very heavy and with the mail box installed the weight tilts. Thus, great care must be given to the concrete base to ensure it is engineered properly. I had a contractor dig a deep hole with rebar enforcement and carefully level. - mfgr (seller) should offer "turn key" delivery where all assembly is done before delivered. - worst, the seller's web site does not provide a portal to which feedback is possible. The above issues were not part of the seller's legal responsibility to provide FULL DISCLOSURE. - The low rating pertains to the above issues and lack of perceived integrity by me, the buyer. - Buyers beware.
