It's great, but a bit pricey!
It's great, the only snag is the price. Better use it only for drinks to make it last longer as it only weighs 500g/a pound, so if you were to use it for cakes, in only 3 or 4 uses, it would be gone. Having said that, I have used only 2 tablespoons with a small tin of evaporated milk and a sliver of butter in a saucepan over slow fire to make caramels and simmered this concoction for 20 min-half an hour, then poured it in moulds and it came out right, with the right level of sweetness. Oh, I also used a pinch of salt. Next time, I think I'll use a large tin and only three tablespoons sweetener and maybe a teaspoon of cocoa powder. This probably doesn't matter, but I also like the pastel colours on the package:) Great product, hope it comes down in price, though.

Really pricey. But really good.
For diabetics, this is absolutely magic stuff. You pay an arm and a leg for the magic, because it’s really really pricey. But … it really does taste like sugar. It’s not a polyol, so it has neither the same cooling effect nor Gut Issues. It doesn’t have that perfectly vile back of the throat aftertaste tingle that erythritol gives me. (I really can’t understand why erythritol is so popular.) Bocha Sweet makes real, no-compromise ice cream in taste and texture … something i’ve been trying to accomplish without sugar for years. I may go to debtor’s prison soon enough. But I am sold.

This stuff really tastes like sugar
Don't do reviews normally, but this stuff REALLY does taste like sugar!! No bitter aftertaste, no scum on top of your brew! I've tasted quite a few "Sweeteners" and they all fall in to comparison. Its just a shame that its sooo expensive!! Why cant we mas produce this and rid the world of sugar. It would have dramatic benefits for world health. If you need to get off sugar because of health reason etc. Try this you will not be disappointed.

Sugar Rush
This is a great sugar replacement and I’ve used it to bake and in hot drinks. It’s the same sweetness as sugar. But it is eye watering expensive so now if I bake I use half the amount and top it up with Erythritol.

Tastes just like sugar!
This stuff is amazing- it is expensive so I have been using in drinks as I think it will last longer that way. But I challenge you to taste the difference to sugar. I usually use monk fruit sweetener as I really dislike the nasty after taste you usually get with artificial sweeteners. This stuff is even better. Definitely good for drinks and cereal and I think if you were doing some special baking this would be excellent. I wish it were less expensive, but to me it tastes just like sugar. I can enjoy a cup of tea again!!

Perfect apart from price!
There is no nasty cooling effect or yuk after taste that you get with other erythrotol based sweeteners. Dissolves quickly which is great for baking - i have this on recurring order now. Wish they did powdered

The good, the bad and the ugly.
The Good: In its granulated form, it’s hard to tell it was not sugar, no bitter aftertaste but did leave a cold sensation on your tongue. The Bad: It’s expensive compared to other sweeteners. The Ugly: So made some Keto ice cream, hubby loved it but suffered really offensive wind. I suffered terrible stomach ache only eased after many rushed trips to the toilet, to say I insulted the porcelain was an understatement. It is expensive but I agree with others, it is very like sugar. Tried in drinks but again suffered the ill timed side effects. So no good for me, hubby said he can’t see it going to waste as it was so costly, however not sure the side effects are worth it.

Excellent natural sweetener
I have been using Bochasweet as my go-to keto-sugar substitute for quite some time now. Unfortunately, I recently found out that the company had to discontinue sales in the UK due to rising import taxes, which is disappointing news, as this is not the first product to disappear from our store shelves for this reason in the last few years.

I have been wanting to try this sweetener for a while, since i read about it on keto blogs in the US. The sweetness is perfect, no weird aftertaste, no cooling sensation on my tongue. That said, it's important to note that BochaSweet doesn't work for everything, it doesn't behave exactly like sugar...there's a thickening aspect to it, it doesn't seem to crystallize. This makes it amazing to use in gooey desserts like caramel or cheesecake-based things. It dissolves much better than monkfruit sweetener.

To me, this is the BEST sugar replacement product available. There is ZERO aftertaste, the texture (granules) is almost exactly like sugar, melts like regular sugar, and it’s a functional 1:1 match to cane sugar, tastes almost exactly the same as cane sugar, and is zero glycemic with zero calories. I don’t need to add monkfruit or other sugar substitutes to it to make it taste better (as what is necessary for other non sugar sweeteners). I’ve this product for several years. Made cookies, popsicles, etc with it. I’ve also purchased their powdered sugar which is also excellent. This cane sugar replacement lasts a long time (similar to can sugar that way). My digestive system usually has a problem with many sugar alcohols, but not with this product. That’s probably because the source of this product is a Japanese squash. Other xylitol products made from birch or corn, bother my GI tract a lot, which is one of the many and main reasons I continue to use this product. It’s not cheap, but if you can afford it, do it. You won’t regret it.

Tastes exactly like sugar. Doesn't dissolve quite as well. It is expensive but I seldom use sweetener and I don't like any of the other ones. This is perfect.

I was skeptical to purchase this, because everything I have tried has an after taste. I have to say this BochaSweet is NO JOKE! NO after taste, NONE. It is the closest to sugar I have tasted. However, I do not believe it is as sweet as sugar. I add a teaspoon to my herbal tea, as I would if I was using real sugar, I found I had to add two to get the same sweetness. Regardless of the amount, BochaSweet, tastes like real sugar, looks like real sugar, and almost feels like real sugar, it has more dampness to it. Absolutely delicious tasting. I am not pre-diabetic, but I do monitor my blood sugar based on foods I eat to ensure I don't become pre-diabetic. I tested my blood sugar before, half hour interval, and one hour, there was no spike. I also read that it was minimally processed, that is a plus. Great alternative to sugar, and high fructose corn syrup for the health conscience, and a fantastic alternative to aspartame, stevia, and other tongue curling, bitter, after tasting substitutes for those who can not eat sugar. I hope in a few years they don't say it is not good for you like they did with agave, another one of my favorites. Two thumbs up for BochaSweet, the only down side is that it is so pricey. They should come out with trial size packets so everyone can give it a try before buying the bigger bag. I bought two from the start and I do not regret it. Plan on baking with it using almond and coconut flours and plan on making my own lemon lime soda with it, the recipes are endless. Thanks BochaSweet!!!!

This stuff taste almost exactly like sugar and has no aftertaste or "coldness". I've tried almost every keto sugar and this is by far the best! I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't so ridiculously expensive.
