Arrived quickly and well packaged. Great solution and less expensive than replacing the regulator and hose (if you can even find one in the configuration needed). Installed in two minutes without tools. PLUS it has a gauge to monitor the fuel level. Highly recommend.

Living in North Texas through the great freeze of 2021 and having to go 36 hours straight without electricity (rolling blackouts my @$$...thanks a lot ERCOT!), I purchased a generator to ensure my family would never experience this again. The dual fuel generator is permanently installed in an enclosure on the side of my house. Inside the enclosure, I am also storing reserve tanks of gasoline (with stabilizer) and a 100lbs tank of propane. Between both types of fuel, I should have days of uptime before needing a refill. The 100lbs propane tank did not come with the standard connection found on residential 20lbs tanks you can purchase at your local big box hardware store, which was the expected connection on the included line for the generator. I liked this product because it a) converted the tank's POL valve to the standard QCC1/Type1 so it could accept the connection from the generator line and b) it includes a fuel gauge so I can monitor the tank's propane levels and know when to refill before it just runs out. Unlike the smaller 20lbs tanks, this is something you're going to just pick up and be able to guesstimate the propane level...the tank's four feet tall and 15" in diameter and even without fuel, it weights a lot. So the adaptor/gauge solution fit the bill perfectly!

I went onto Amazon just to see if this product existed. My older 100 lb. tank that serves our fireplace had the old internal threads. When I had to replace my regulator, I couldn’t find one the right size that had those old threads, but there were many choices of newer regulators that attach externally by hand - thus, the search! Happily, there were many to chose from. This one appears to be well made, attaches in seconds and allows you to use new regulators on old tanks without changing the tank valve. I can’t provide any information on some of the comments that the gauge isn’t accurate as the tank empties. I can tell you that my tank is full and the gauge reads full, and, truth be known, I selected this adapter with a gauge because it was the same price as others without gauges.

I stumbled across one of these years ago and decided that I would buy a set for our propane tanks. They are extremely helpful to have. Everyone has run out of propane at one point. This ensures that you know how much propane is in your tank. It's one of the best purchases that I've made for little things like this around the house. Quite honestly, it makes a great gift!

Needed an adaptor for a 100lbs tank for my Toy Hauler. Worked like a dream, took a little bit to figure out what the green yellow red equaled in PSI or LBS. But after a few fill ups we have it down. Great product.
