This Matt is great and it just fits my step into a shower. However, Its surface is very smooth. I use the following to stick on the surface to avoid slips. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NGJ3KZ4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 One packet (12 strips) just fills up the surface of the Matt. I cut it so I can use 1 1/2 strip for each rail of the Matt. The strip is transparent so it still show the beautiful color of the Matt. I bought two Matts so it fits the whole step.
