Just what I was looking for. A top notch creme pastry filling that's so easy to make. Simple directions and very quick to make. Great price, too.

I had no problems figuring the amount for making this desert. All you need is 1 (out of 3) powder packages from the box and 500 ml of milk (a little over 0.528 US liquid Quart)- you have Google to check converted amount, and this is it. I don’t understand people complaining about language on the box. You can google for everything nowadays. I brought milk to a boil and added that pack of powder carefully mixing in a pot for a few minutes (maybe 3-5). Once it’s pudding-thick, feel a small (or whatever size you want) dish and you are done. Chill for a few hours in a fridge- you are done. It’s so easy and delicious! I will buy a few more boxes. Now all my friends want this desert.

I love French pastry and make it often. Although making pastry cream from scratch is not too difficult, I don't see myself ever doing it again unless I need some with no vanilla. No discernible difference from scratch pastry cream, incredibly easy to make, and not expensive!!!

I bought this to ease the process of making a tarte Tropezienne and was astounded at the quality of the pastry cream it makes. Probably better than I could make on my own. I intend to keep this on hand at all times!

Google Lens helped with the translation so that was not a problem. The problem was the chemical taste and very bad after-taste that stayed in my moth for hours. I ended up tossing this and made my own pastry cream from scratch. Not hard to do with just milk, vanilla, salt, egg yolks, sugar, and corn startch. I tried to take a short cut with this product but it backfired. So wanted to like it but it just ended up in my trash.

I am French so used to having these in the pantry . These are great for " tartes " as they are done in France, Germany,... They are much cheaper in Europe though. BTW, be careful, the dates are in EU format, so day/ month, not month/ day. Although I have ordered several and usually without problems, my last order came in as pictured. Must have been a rough ride!

Yes, the instructions are in French. In the time it took all those people to complain about the instructions being in French, they could have googled and found that you just use 2 cups of milk per pouch of mix. Easy, tastes good, and convenient!

This is my go-to when I don't have time to make my own pastry cream. Add some whipped cream and you have a delicious Chantilly cream.
