SightPro Magnetic Privacy Screen for MacBook Pro 13 Inch (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, M1, M2) Patented Removable Laptop Privacy Filter Shield and Protector

I've been very impressed with this privacy screen. It does exactly what it's supposed to do by keeping people beside you from seeing your screen while still providing a clear view straight on. The magnetic attachment makes it easy to install and remove whenever needed. What has impressed me most is how durable it is. Mine has taken a surprising amount of everyday abuse, including frequent removal, being tossed into a laptop bag, and regular handling, yet it hasn't ripped, cracked, or bent. I expected it to wear out much sooner, but it's held up extremely well. If you travel, work in coffee shops, airports, classrooms, or any shared workspace where you want a little extra privacy, this is a worthwhile investment. It's easy to use, holds securely, and has proven to be much more durable than I expected.

I ordered this for someone who needed a privacy screen for their laptop, and it worked out great for what they needed. The magnetic design makes it convenient to put on and remove, and it fit the laptop well. They were happy with it, so I’m happy with the purchase!

UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW: Ok, I'm seriously impressed with the seller, SightPro, so this warrants a new review. I have a Lenovo Slim 7i laptop, and I had to return this product because whenever the magnets got close to the screen, it caused the entire OS to boot me out and go to the lock screen, so the product was unusable. I left a 2-star review, explained why, and returned it for a refund. (Yes, it may have been user-error on my part. I got the correct size and ratio, and the listing description said it was compatible with Lenovo. I poured over the listing several times before buying it and also afterwards when I was having the magnetic issue, and I swear that I didn't see any disclaimer that it wasn't compatible for touchscreens. As of June 2026, I see a note about it now at the end of the second paragraph, so maybe it was recently added to prevent further confusion, or maybe it was always there and I was just a blind dummy. So yeah...don't get the magnetic one if you have a touchscreen version.) Anyway, blind dummy or not, after my refund had already been processed and I thought that was that, SightPro unexpectedly reached out and mailed me the correct product that's compatible. It was a big surprise, and yes, this one works perfectly. (If anyone's wondering, the Removable privacy screen is the one you want if you have a touchscreen. No magnets, no sticky residue, and the touchscreen function still works with it on too.) The service alone was worth 5 stars because they made sure I wound up with the right product in the end. DEFINITELY buy from SightPro, especially if there's any doubt or concern about what specs you'll need. The quality of the product and quality of their customer service is exceptional. 10/10.

First Impressions: Nice looking packaging and presentation. I felt professional looking at this. Pros: The magnetic strips at the top of the screen itself worked for me. The adhesive strips you add to the top of your screen were easy to apply, and the screen itself does provide privacy from peripheral angles. I do a double take when returning to my laptop after short departures as I think it has gone to sleep. Cons: It’s a small thing, quite literally, but the included camera cover is easy to miss so don’t inadvertently drop it or throw it out. The adhesive strip, for me at least, was laughable, insomuch as it did not keep the bottom of the screen in place very long. Like the camera cover, it’s also easy to miss and you might put it on the wrong side, at first. Due to the aforementioned strip, I ended up adding small strips of electrical tape to keep it in place. It’s not pretty but my laptop is pretty old and I prefer having the privacy screen be there than having to go back and forth removing it or having the bottom swing out when I lower/close the lid. Tips: Some companies have you measure your screen diagonally while others have you go by length and width so follow their guidelines for getting fit. This one was length by width. For this one also take note of the adhesive strip as it’s easy to miss. If you also find the adhesive strip to be ineffective search for the likes of “privacy screen mounting tabs,” “removable adhesive strips for privacy screen,” “privacy screen adhesive strips,” or something similar as a cheap work around. This item is also a fingerprint magnet if you look at it but these aren’t visible, at least now with my regular usage and sitting from about two feet away. Conditional Rating: 4/5 Addendum: I ended up buying a mounting installation kit from Peslv as SightPro didn’t have any in their Amazon store, and did away with the tacky electrical tape. I emailed SightPro about the adhesive strip not being effective (almost the entire review up to this point) and to my utmost surprise, after a brief exchange, they sent me a replacement (non-magnetic) one! Better yet, they also included a letter, some bonus camera covers, and it arrived in less than a work-week. Grade A customer service from SightPro! So while the product itself still didn’t quite fully deliver, SightPro’s customer service went above and beyond. My updated, conditional rating is 4.5/5 but that’s due to said customer service and the fact that my issues still occurred. I rarely give fives as that would mean I was blown away by a product that did a darn good job. Link(s) for reference: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09S3LBDG9 (Peslv Slide Mount Tabs)

Updated Review: I have to give credit where it’s due. After my first experience, I was very disappointed but then customer service stepped in and honestly, they were AMAZING. Super attentive, kind and quick to offer me a replacement. And wow... what a difference! This new one completely changed my mind. The privacy is on point, no more “visible from the moon” issue. Even with my brightness turned all the way up, no one can see my screen except me, mission accomplished. And the fit? Perfect! It actually sticks to my laptop like it was born there. No flapping, no frustration, just sleek protection and solid privacy. I’m extremely pleased and pleasantly surprised. Now I really do feel like a secret agent! 😎 ----- Original Review: I honestly had high hopes for this product. The magnetic installation seemed like a great idea, quick, easy, and mess-free. But in reality, this privacy screen fell way short of expectations. First of all, the "privacy" aspect is basically non-existent. I think the only person this screen is hiding my laptop from is me. Everyone else, left, right, across the room, probably even on the moon, can still see my screen just fine. Then there’s the magnetic attachment or should I say partial attachment? The top sticks, but the bottom? Nope. Just flaps around like it’s trying to take flight. Every time I close my laptop or a breeze comes by, it’s like a tiny annoying curtain auditioning for Broadway. For the price, I expected to feel like a secret agent but nope. I ended up returning it. Not worth it at all.

This laptop privacy screen was really easy to install and a good value for the price. It adhered to the screen almost immediately and initially felt almost magnetic with how easily it snapped into place. The privacy feature works well and does exactly what I needed it to do. My only issue is that over time, the bottom portion seems to have lost some of its adhesion. It now moves around a bit instead of staying completely flush against the screen like it did when I first installed it. Overall, though, it was easy to install, provides good privacy, and does the job for a reasonable price. I just wish the bottom stayed as secure as it was in the beginning.

This is exactly what I was looking for! Provides the perfect amount of privacy without risking too much of the visibility. The magnetic strip up top works great, I have not used the adhesives yet.

Fits like a glove and works very well, super easy to attach because of built-in magnetic strip. By nature eyes can see your screen from behind, but from either side it feels very private. Way too expensive for a piece of plastic, hence the four stars, but does the job well.

I've wasted twice my money for some other types of screen protector. This one turns out to be the perfect buy and attaches the magnet fine. Although the bottom part doesn't lies flat to the screen at times, there's a small double sided tape included to stick it. Great product! Recommended!

مش عمليه وساعات بتقع من ع الشاشه مش متماسكه ولازم تشيلها وانت قافل اللاب .... مش زي م توقعت

Great screen. Fantastic customer service.

Eso, cumple con la función de disminuir la radiación, pero la paquetería lo entregó doblado

So the screen protector itself it's definitely worth it. High quality, works as per described but vendor is reshipping returned items! The product box was OPEN, the screen protector came with BAD scratches and it was placed in a transparent folder (which isn't part of the original packaging!!!). 5* for the product! 1* for the vendor, specially at this price range! Pathetic behaviour!
