My wife and I found a pontoon that we really wanted to but that was already set up to crappie fish. It has an eagle mural on it, lots of rod holders and GLORIOUS lights. We needed a few spares so we bought them.They are easy to install, very bright , a competitive price and they are GLORIOUS!!!

The one thing that surprised me is the size of these things. They are physically bigger than a 10in iPad!!! They are also very, very BRIGHT!!! You notice in one of the pics I have a piece of paper clamped onto the front to diffuse the lighting. You don't want to have the light flooding you directly. Unless, of course, you are using these as outdoor flood lamps, which I suppose is a good application for these are IP-66 water resistant (supposedly).I bought these as a green screen studio lighting and, to my surprise, they actually work. So good in fact that I have to trim the camera aperture a bit to dim the exposure as the green background starts to over-saturate into light (whitish) green and it gets harder to chroma key it out.The other thing I observed is these things produce a lot of heat!! Good thing these babies are built solid with aluminum chassis and heat sink fins on the back which draws out the heat efficiently.Last thing, I like the fact that they have a built-in ON/OFF switch, which is pretty handy, instead of unplugging the things every so often which you would actually be doing if these used as a studio backlighting.

This is very bright and been working for 3 years outside in the weather. Really well made and durable. Too bright for direct line of sight so indirect is better.

Brighter than anything else I have. Barely get warm, great for lightly warming up my hands in the freezing cold. I can see "clear" across the road, 40 feet away, and the tops of the Pine trees in the forest there. They also have an attachment bar for attaching to anything... like my old HOT Halogen setup, and always breaking bulbs, Double Worklight... "stand". Fits PERFECT! In-cord thumb switches near the light, so easier to work with than the OLD hot ones! In my 1000sf gutted apartment, I can easily see 1/2 the area for insulating the ceiling! So nice!

I have several sets of old work light stands that held two halogen lights and the bulbs were hot, fragile, and not cheap. Instead of ordering more old bulbs, I thought I would give a set of these a try and am so far pleased with the results with a few modifications.The old work light stands are the kind with three folding legs and a telescopic mast to raise the light bar high where two units are affixed. Swapping the old lamps with a set of these is simple except for one issue: as they are built, the mounting brackets on the LED lamps cannot rotate 360-degrees around the light body (you can't swing the mount all the way around). The outside face of the body is larger than the bracket width. If you try to mount these with the bracket vertically down (clamped to the top of the stand's light bar) and the lamp pointing horizontally straight ahead, you can only adjust the light upwards.I need these to angle up and down so I bend the bracket wide enough to fit around the lamp body. Then, I used some longer socket cap screws and added a few washers on each side where the mounting bracket is affixed to the sides of the lamp. This way the bracket is out far enough to where I can rotate the lamp up and down. See the attached photo - simple and cheap fix.I intend to use these in my shop and outside this fall/winter to illuminate my child's soccer field. They are VERY bright and big. If you have an old set of work lights on a stand and want to do the same conversion, check the distance between mount points on your stand to ensure these fit. If they do and you're willing to tinker a bit, you shouldn't be disappointed. I am so pleased with the results that I will order another set to convert more work lamps from halogen to LED.

These two lights light up the back yard and looks like daytime now. No nooks someone can hide in now. Someone trying to break into our house, and they have attempted five times. I now have yard flooded, cameras, door alarms, bear spray, and crowbar. I really don't want to the expense of having to buy a gun and then take lesson to learn to use it but it may also come down to that. I've been getting phone calls someone saying dirty things they want to do to me. My anxiety been through the roof. I'm going to call the phone company to see if they can trace the calls somehow. I like find out who this creep it and press charges.

I was attracted to the listing originally by the 100w rating though I never had something that used so much power before (usually 20-40w). I have to say these might be a tad too bright for certain jobs as you CAN'T point it to the middle of the room as you'll be blinded passing by. Point it to the wall and you'll have a great amount of light to work in. That being said, it's not a true work light. I got distracted and see that it has a swivel mounting bracket but no real stand or carry handle. If you put it outside to illuminate a house or tree - that it's what it's designed for but for work reasons, just have to use the bracket as your carry handle.Only time will tell how long it would last but after going through at least a dozen other "permanent" LED lights from Home Depot, Harbor Freight, Lowes and other suppliers - I don't have any real confidence this would last for years and years. Still the price for 2 of these for about the same for what others would charge, it is still a bargain.

Really amazed at how bright the light was. It comes complete with a switch on the electrical cord. Excellent value. The light is 5000k, a white light which unfortunately clashed with all the warmer bulbs we had in the room so I had to return it and buy a 4000k light. That likely doesn't matter to others, so my disappointment with the light is no reflection on its quality. It delivered what it promised.
