As for the sauce itself, it is hands down the best jarred red sauce I have ever tasted. It has a rich, authentic flavor with the perfect balance of garlic, tomatoes, and olive oil. Unlike so many other brands, it isn't overly sweet and tastes exactly like it has been simmering on a stove all afternoon. It is a bit more expensive than the standard supermarket options, but the quality of the ingredients makes it entirely worth it. I highly recommend keeping a few jars in the pantry for a quick, delicious dinner on busy weeknights!

I've never tasted a marinara closer to restaurant quality than this one. This is NOT a Pasta Sauce. It's a Marinara Sauce, like the one you get when you order Mozzarella Marinara from a restaurant. Perfect for dipping hot, breaded Mozzarella Sticks!!

Yes they may be a bit more expensive but not really when you consider how great this tastes. Rao's makes the finest sauces and I've tried a LOT of them! If you're serious about Italian cookiing This is Your Brand!

Usually delicious, but last delivery was packaged carelessly with no protection for the glass. Glass met glass and shattered everywhere. The box was literally dripping res liquid on our white concrete stoop. The sauce ruined other items in the box. Rao - Love your sauce, it wasn’t your fault that you were damaged goods. Packagers - Common, man!! The sauce defiled my new jammies en route. : (

Ordered 2 bottles and one was broken, but the other jar was exceptionally good. Will buy again.

I think this is the best marinara sauce you can buy. Looks and tastes great. Just the right consistency. Always tastes fresh made.
