This product did exactly what I needed!
I discovered a 2-foot long black mark on my front fender (caused by a stray shopping cart, no doubt) and I tried to remove it using soap and water and a sponge which didn't work. I then used a Scott's green scrubbie which did get the black mark out, but left some light scratches on the finish. These scratches weren't very deep, and only penetrated into the upper layer of the clear coat of the paint. However, they were really noticeable from a short distance as you walked up to my car (ugh!). So, after some research I decided to try the Quixx Paint Scratch Remover since I only need to repair the clear topcoat on my car. The Quixx kit is basically a method to sand out the scratches in the paint surface. You start out with 3000 grit sand paper (which will sand out deep scratches but leaves smaller ones), then use the #1 paste, then onto the #2 paste. So, you successively use less abrasive products to get the final scratch-free surface. In my case, I only needed to use the #1 and #2 paste since I was working with faint scratches in the clear topcoat paint. These are really mild abrasives, so even with the #1 paste I didn't see any major swirl marks or faint scratches after using it. You really need to push HARD to get the scratches off the topcoat since it can be a really hard finish. I rubbed the #1 paste for 2 minutes on the scratches and after two applications they did come out! It actually looked good and glossy with just using the #1 paste, but after I used the #2 paste since that was specified in the instructions. The final look was exactly what I wanted-- you can get up real close and you can't see the scratches at all. The glossiness of the finish matched the rest of the car too. Now, this is my experience using this product on some relatively mild scratches on the clear coat finish of a 1-year old car, so your situation may be different if you have an older car, deeper scratches, oxidation, etc. But, in all this product did exactly as advertised for a very small price!

Works but requires work...
I ordered this product to remove minor scratches from my 2011 Honda Pilot (Black) and smooth out paint touch-ups. For that purpose it works as described but takes some effort to work. I had some hairline scratches on the body of my car that I wanted to get rid of but didn't want to use touch-up paint on as it would not look good. So hoping I could blend in or get rid of the scratches with this product after reading the reviews, I ordered this. For $15, I really couldn't loose. I received it quickly and tried it right away. I skipped the applying touch-up paint on the scratches because these were hairline. Just used part 1 first and rubbed for 2-5 minutes with lots of force and noticed the scratches fade away. It did take me applying the solution a second time though (maybe I had used too little). But it worked. The second part really brought back the shine and made it good as new and like before. I was happy and satisfied. Second I tried this on the lower bumper where I had touched up some bigger scratches and wanted to smooth those out. I used the sand paper on the spot that I had touched up (that is the hard part). Go light and don't over do it. Then I applied part 1 to it and rubbed for 2-5 minutes. That brought back the black after the sanding and blended it in better. Then applying part 2 brought back the shine it had before. So overall, I am satisfied with this product. I actually bought another just in case. I still have to apply this on other spots too. I highly recommend this if you are willing to put in a little bit of effort into it and don't want to spend too much to repair minor or touched up scratches.

Quixx Paint scratch remover REALLY WORKS
OK so less than 3 months ago i bought a pearl white 2007 350z coupe it is my baby but unfortunately 2 weeks ago or so i was at the grocery shop and a run away cart hit the back of my car ( back bumper) and left about 10-12 scratches and a very very big and deep scratch , i was extremely angry because you def able to see it on my car and come on who wants to drive a nice car with huge scratches !!! NOT ME, so i took my car to at least 4 different paint shops to see how much it would be to just paint those scratches of, every single shop told me it would be 400+ dollars i was completely bummed out and said no way, i received a phone call from one of my best friends and he told me about this product and i was completely skeptical about it and from the get go i went in close minded about the product i purchased the product and it took about a week to arrive A LONG LONG WEEK for me all i could think of was the nasty scratches on the back of my beautiful car so when the product arrived i did everything it said to do on the directions and it did absolutely nothing i was pissed of because in my mind i knew that this had been a complete waste of money and time , but then i thought MMMMMM maybe i should use the entire product on my car which is what i did and do my surprise EVERY SINGLE SCRATCH CAME OFF! i dont understand how it works but BOOM like magic my car looked brand new of course i jumped in joy in my garage ( i am 22 years old ) and shouted and screamed like a woman ! every single scratch came off if you follow the directions and use the whole product IT WILL work before you go out and think that you need to spend hundreds of dollars on a new touch up paint job try this item IT WAS like magic def recommend it, since then i bought 3 more packages of this product and have them in my garage just in case a careless person does something to my car

Waste of money, you better get a buffing machine.
This solution would be ok if you would like to get rid off really LIGHT scratches and spend just a few bugs, however this won't take off most of the scratches a car usually gets, not even moderate scratches. My mother's car got really serious scratches with a metal nail, I off course knew it needed professional assistance and also some painting, but at least I tried to make it a little better and less noticeable with this product, the result was BAD, it looked the same. Thanks God I borrowed a buffing machine an some Meguiar's compounds and now the scratches are hardly seen and you cannot see them at all from the distance, if you don't mind spending $200 bugs and learning how to polish a car I would strongly recommend doing it, is not hard to do it and your car and future cars will be covered. Now I don't care if something happens to my car (nothing serious obviously)

Does the trick!
Purchased this to remove tiny scratches on a guitar finish . Works great! Works also on watch faces ( if plastic), auto and other things I haven’t thought of yet.

Worked great at first, but quickly washed off in rain.
I purchased this to take care of a few light light scratches here and there on my lightly used car. All of the scratches I touched up were very light. So I followed it exactly and put a lot of force and effort into the touch-up. While the scratch did not disappear entirely, it certainly faded and made the scratch look a lot less "angry" as other reviews put it. I was very pleased with the product!! The next week however, we got some thunderstorms. When I woke up in the morning, the scratch had returned just as evident and 'angry' as before. I applied both steps with great effort, followed all the instructions to the word and it still didn't work because the rain washed away whatever coating/sealer was there. I'll try adding it one more time, but I don't think it's going to help. It will probably just wash away in the first rain storm. I think the people reviewing this product should wait a few days then wash their cars and see if their 5-star rating is still 5-stars.

Amazing!!!
I have a black car. Did that get your attention?? I have an '03 VW Jetta and while my car has always shined up pretty well, every time I take it to the stealership I know there's going to be some fine scratches somewhere the mechanics were working at. I hate it when I look at my car in the sun because I always notice that stuff. So last year I read a lot of reviews on scratch removal, tried a bunch of expensive things, and nothing seem to work on those pesky fine scratches. For those of you who know, anytime you even look at a black car you're going to get fine scratch somewhere because of it. So I read this article about Quixx and thought "It couldn't hurt." So I bought it and it sat in my basement for a while because I had really bigtime doubts. Today I had to do a couple things to my car and figured I would finally give Quixx a shot. So I found a tiny scratch, followed the instructions and "POOF!" the scratch was gone. No fine white line remaining, no nothing. I figured I would give it a shot on a larger, more noticable scratch and "POOF!" that one was gone. THEN I took a flashlight and followed up over the spots I used Quixx on and STILL did not see anything. I am now a believer. Since car paint is a "poly" I'm guessing it manipulates the paint to close the gap where the scratch is. I read a lot of reviews on here where people said it messed up thier paint. Again I am guessing they had older paint and would not reccommend using it on an older paint job. My only suggestion is to follow up with your own polish afterwards. That polish cloth they give you scared me a little bit and while it did shine up, my polish and cloth works better for that. I am actually looking foward to going back over my entire car with the stuff, I highly recommend it!

Actually worked
Few of these products rarely produce results . I had to apply elbow grease and it took some time and a matter of 4 or 5 applications along with some touch up paint. Eventually I wore the problem down and this produced more than satisfactory results.

Top Produkt!!! ( Vandalismus gehört bekämpft ) FEEL THE SPIRIT AND LIVE YOUR DREAM

worked after watching the video on youtube!!
It did not work when i first tried it a month ago. Then i tried again after watching the video. i think you should apply the paste on the scratch and let it sits for 2 - 4 minutes, then use the white cloth to swipe it in circular, apply more and you will see the scratches disappear slowly. you should only use the sand paper if you have touch-up paint on it.
