CicaTape Soft Silicone Medical Tape (1.6in x 180in)

I got top surgery about 4 months ago and have been using this for about a month and 2.5 months on the scar. It's helped alot with lightening and flattening the scar but I know I will continue using it for a long while to help reconstruction of the tissue. The tape is very nice and convenient I have a very long but thin scar so I cut the tape in half lengthwise and it sticks very well. The only minor issue I have is I will occasionally sweat and the moisture can make the tape not effective and cause it to irritate the skin underneath. Still a great product I enjoy using!

I have had the best experience using the Cica Tape. It has been easy to reuse after showering as long as you done have a lot of lotion or oil on your skin. As a person who scars with significant keloid formation since my section of my children back in 1994 and 2001. I have had a least 4 scar revisions and this is the best experience I have had with scarring. I am currently 6 weeks post op with excellent healing and no signs of keloid formation. At this point in the past my scars would be painful and hypertrophic. The design makes it easy to use with perforated squares so you can govern the size you desire. I will be ordering this one again. I would post the difference in my scars but I certainly don't want to scare and scar you with the before pictures. :-)

Clean appearance, great durability and thickness, and very comfort to use.

This works amazingly well. I bought it for recent major surgery scars. The scars have faded far more than I expected or thought possible in a very short amount of time. The only problem is that the tape needs to be fixed to the skin with something else or it balls up and comes off (yes, I prep the skin). Pretty annoying. But the results seem to be worth a little extra work.

About a month ago I underwent MOLS surgery on three separate places on my face. The Doctor had to go pretty deep on all three to get all the Bassel Cell out. Stitches inside and out Resembeled Frankinstien, for another week.A week later He took the outside stitches out, inside are going to dissolve in around a month. Doc told me to keep putting Vaseline on the scars for another week, then start putting Silicon tape on the scars going to bed at night. I went on Amazon and found Cica Tape at Pharmacy Direct / PDU Inc and ordered a 3 roll box, I put this on every night, and the scars are kind of long, for at least a month to six weeks. GUESS WHAT, this stuff works better than I was expecting. In the first two weeks now and These monster scars are all ready fading and more importantly smoothing out. This scar tape is in a league of its own. If you're deciding which to get, it's Cica hands down: it's a better product AND less expensive. I've been using Elaimei scar tape for several months post surgery, and I wish I'd been using Cica instead. Cica sticks to your skin better and still doesn't hurt to adjust. Because it adheres better it's much more comfortable. It doesn't itch because it keeps moving or I need to keep adjusting it. Most scar tape says you can shower in it, with this it's actually true. The difference was immediately obvious.

This medical tape works great sticks on your skin for up to 10 days! This company stands by their product. They are easy to deal with. I will do an update to let you know my scars have disappeared or not from this medical tape.

Confortable and reduced my scars ! Does not hurt when removing on 3 weeks old scares. Great product not cheap if sent in Canada but worth it !
