Beautiful Tool!!
Nice tool. Sharp. Reamed pegholes in a guitar for tuners and holes for pots after finishing. Worked perfectly.

Excellent tool that works very well... : - )
I purchased this tool to ream out guitar tuner peg holes and it worked effortlessly and flawlessly. The cut is not over aggressive, which allows preciseness. I occasionally build new and restore old guitars as a hobby. This tool appears as though it will stay sharp for years to come. It will come in handy. I have zero complaints.

Works for guitar bridge pins
This was purchased to enlarge the bridge pin holes on a yamaha guitar. Worked great. Approx 3 deg taper. Reccomend

Very good quality
When you order something like this, you always wonder about the quality. All I can say is this reamer is worth every cent. Very sharp, does exactly what it is supposed to do. No rough edges or finish. The taper is precise for 5 degree bridge pins and I also used it to clean up the end pin bore for a new end pin on several guitars. There are some negative reviews regarding sharpness, and after having a reamer in hand I think I can see two possible reasons, one- these aren't designed for aggressive cuts, it's not a drill, it is for precise reaming. It's best to cut a little, clean the cuttings (test the fit if applicable) and continue to your desired size. Also this only cuts when you rotate clockwise, it doesn't cut by going back and forth. All that is needed is light pressure. If you need one at a reasonable price, I recommend this one.

A decent hole reamer
A good tool to have. I used this to ream and widen the tuner peg holes on a guitar, this worked well for that. It is sharp too and seems to be of decent quality.

Reamer is a funny word
Wood Reamer. This lil' handheld tool is legit. Handle is attached well..nice & solid. This joker is good n sharp. Balanced & even from top to bottom. I just needed to expand some smaller holes that were already drilled into an inch of some beautiful cherry plinths...so I could screw attenuators into the wood. I didn't want to spend a small fortune & the handheld gave me more control of the hole size I needed. This Reamer was of nicer quality than I expected. I guess I was expecting something light in weight with a screwy handle. For my uses this Reamer could last me forever. Came in a nice box instead of just thrown in a bag.

Works Just fine
Four stars not five stars because I can't give 4.5. Well made but not a Stew Mac at 25% the cost. It would need to match the Stew Mac to get 5 stars. I had to close my guitar making business a few years ago and I sold all of my tools to an upcoming luthier. Recently, I've needed to do some work on a couple guitars including the first guitar I made. I had the Stew Mac reamer in the past when the price was less horrifically expensive. I needed to shave the bridge to help fix the high action of #1 and consequentially needed to adjust the bridge pins I didn't want to spend the $100+ cost for the Stew Mac so I tried this one. The guy whom is worried about the 2.7 degree taper vs 3 degrees taper it isn't enough to worry about. There's that much variation in the pins. I've made 30 plus acoustic guitars and my opinion is these are fine for a luthier on a budget or hobbyist making their first guitar.

No damage to finish
Was able to enlarge pot holes in my Epiphone SG without any damage to finish. Just take your time and do not rush.

Extremely excellent 5-degree tapered reamer.
Extremely sharp. On guitar make sure you ream gently one full turn at a time until you get the right snug and fit for the hole. Absolutely highly recommended with the price half compared to the reamer sold at Stewmac.
