Twelve South Curve SE, Ergonomic Aluminum Laptop and MacBook Stand, White

The Twelve South Curve is a simple, sturdy, and attractive design with no moving parts. Nonetheless it is very effective and allows you to securely position your MacBook or laptop at a comfortable height that allows you to use your MacBook or laptop alongside a large second screen or to elevate it for a much more comfortable and ergonomic placement. The padding under the base ensures the Twelve South Curve will not move around. The white finish looks great and matches the Apple aesthetic. The space under the Twelve South Curve remains available for use. I use this space to park my headphones but it would also accommodate an I/O expansion dock, a desktop switch, or anything else you want to be close at hand but mostly hidden. I am using my Twelve South Curve stand to position my 15" MacBook Air alongside a 32" 4K monitor. This vastly extends my available screen real estate on my computer setup and places the MacBook Air at a height that is in line with the larger monitor. I don't have to look up or look down to move windows between screens or view the applications on the Mac's built-in display. There is a small amount of bounciness when pressing keys on the mounted MacBook Air, but nothing that would lead you to believe that the computer could move or fall off the stand. My MacBook Air is enclosed in a protective case but the Twelve South Curve has more than enough height on the front retainers to keep the thicker MacBook Air + protective case combination firmly in place. Finally, because the Twelve South Curve stand is so sturdy and well designed I can continue to easily reach the keyboard and trackpad on my MacBook Air for things like using Touch ID to login or utilize two-factor authentication. I would probably not want to use my MacBook Air's keyboard for anything other than simple keyboard entries, such as entering a password and using Touch ID. It's much easier to use a bluetooth keyboard on my desk. With the MacBook Air still within easy reach, any brand bluetooth keyboard will suffice, whether it has Touch ID or not because the Mac's keyboard is still within reach.

Aesthetically pleasing riser, much more so than the black variant that I switch over from(personal preference). The white finish is perfect with no noticeable imperfections and the rubber lining adheres to the piece of aluminum quite nicely. No signs of it wearing out anytime soon There’s a bit of flex on the arms holding the laptop so the weight and size of the laptop should be taken into account when purchasing. I’ve used this laptop riser for 3-4 months now and I’ve enjoyed it. It's simple, beautiful, and works for how I intended to use it. Pros Aesthetic: It’s white/“off-white” so it works in all workspaces. I found it more elegant than the black version overall, after having that for several years now. Less of a dust magnet. This doesn’t mean it won’t attract some dust, it’s just less apparent to me. Price: Pricing isn't too bad, especially if you can get it at a discounted price, which I highly recommend. Cons Shorter than some other laptop risers outhere, so if you use this at a sit height, it can be difficult to adjust to. The Curve Flex, however, keep in mind that the version has hinges, which can be prone to loosening over time. Not travel-friendly: This laptop riser will most likely spend its days on your desk or within the home. If you want to spend your money and get the most out of its functionality, some offerings work well as a desk accessory and a travel companion.

We got two of these for our Macbook Pro 16” and 13”. The stands are very stylish (we got the white and have space grey laptops). The stands sets the keyboards at a perfect angle for typing and elevated your computer high enough to make cables easy to run anywhere and stay uncluttered. One of us uses a wireless keyboard. This stand puts the screen at a better visual height than when the laptop is on a desk. These would also be great for a multiple screen set up. All Twelve South products are of the highest quality and very well thought out. Even the black boxes they are packaged in are superb, we are repurposing them. Highly recommend.

Love this stand. Fits my Mac M1 Max perfectly. Nice and stable. Blends with the white desk I have so it's aesthetically pleasing. Sturdy, no assembly required.

Great aesthetic, perfect size for a small desk

Nice stand, works well. I like that it allows for airflow. However, I think I received a returned/used unit, since I can see an area that was scratched and touched up with a different white paint that doesn’t have the same finish. Really disappointed to once again order a “new” product only to get something that was clearly used before.

Years ago my son brought 2 Apple iCurves home from school that they were throwing out. Both had hairline cracks in the acrylic and one soon broke. I used the other one for a few years under my personal 13" laptop which weighs less than 4 pounds, carefully keeping an eye on the cracks as they grew. I really like the acrylic one but it broke, so I bought a Twelve South Curve to replace it. Made of Aluminum, it was just as light but far sturdier than the acrylic version. Geometry is slightly different but close enough. I work from home and my employer replaced my tower workstation with a 17" mobile workstation that weighs almost 10 pounds. The Curve holds the new laptop even with the two 24" monitors and gives me a panoramic desktop for work - I really like it! But I also wanted one for my personal laptop, so I bought a second one. I now have one in white and another in black.

I needed to find a nice and simple-looking stand for my macbook in my new Study. I watched a lot of reviews and this one seemed very popular, so I wanted to give it a try. I was a bit iffy about the price at first because it isn't a "cheap" stand where you can find at many other places, but the design, aesthetic, and the white color option really draws me in at first. My macbook has the tendency of heating up, which resulted in loud noises, but after I tried out this stand for a while now, and I find that my macbook doesn't do that anymore. And I just really like the look of it, and it sits perfectly well next to my monitor on my white desk. Really like this and it's worth it!

I liked the look, it’s taller and my MacBook Pro looks Awesome, it’s the right height on my work station.

Very well packaged, stable for flat surfaces, clean lines and elegant. No adjustment, no assembly, just unbox and place. Great size for 15" macbook, but there are no clamps or tie downs if that's important. Angle is good for keyboard above desk, but again it's not adjustable. For my use this stand is perfect, no wobbling, no sliding, nice and stable.

This stand is sold on the originating maker of my laptop the “fruit” company for $30 more than Amazon. I figure if they recommend it - it must be decent. I was not disappointed. Working from home means I needed a better set up for my laptop, and this fits the bill! The right height, sturdy, well made and designed. My laptop doesn’t overheat like some of the other stands that have a full bottom under the laptop. I have a 13” laptop and it fits just fine. You will need a separate keyboard of course when using this - as it’s not comfortable to type on, but your neck and back will thank you for the eye level screen! Do not hesitate to but this one!
