Excellent upgrade for my rock Island 1911 45 ACP. Extremely good value and an excellent quality product. Transformed the look from those ugly orange stock grips. Fits perfectly on Rock Island 1911s. Very easy to change out!

These are well crafted and nicely finished. I put them on a Colt Government Model and they look and fit great.

I was hesitant to buy these at first because of all the bad reviews saying it won't fit a Ria 1911. Well they fit mine no problem and they look awesome. 5 stars great product good price

If you want a nice slim wood grip replacement that has a little wider footprint than the Ruger SR1911 stock panels but will also work with your slim panel bushings without having to replace them (which is not easy), then these are a great choice. These are also a great choice if you want to add a Wilson metal front strap to your SR1911 but don't want to worry about your panels not being large enough to securely hold it in place.

Fit and finish is perfect. Checkering is sharp and provides a good grip. Will need short bushings. If you are looking for thin rose wood grips, these are the ones. Fits perfect on a full size Colt or clone. The only thing to consider is the screws. They do look great but require a torx head wrench to get on and off. The wrench is provided, be sure to keep up with it. The screws that came with my grips were black, not the gold looking ones in the picture.

Nice real wood grips. Classic checkering looks great on my A1 Government Model. Out of the package both grips were slightly warped, which concerned me at first but they laid down just fine when I screwed them on. I assume with being as thin as they are and natural wood a little ocasional warpage can be expected. The included screws are okay but the style doesn't quite match the design of the grips, in my opinion, but of course you don't have to use them. However, you will need to change out your standard grip screw bushings for short ones with any thin grips, and if you don't use the included screws you will also need to use short grip screws.
