Reiscare Baby Powder Rice Starch Extra Mild 100% Talcum Free, Hypoallergenic, Water Repellent 50 G

Bought this product as dry shampoo, in an effort to eliminated chemicals from my beauty routine. Unfortunately the packaging stated that it was fragranced, which I didn't want, so I returned it.

Works way better than that Johnson's crud. Smells great and no powder wafting in the air.

I was looking for natural rice starch powder, namely Oryza Sativa (Rice) Starch. I think the descriptions of this product is misleading because although it’s talc free, its not natural rice powder, (not that they said it was natural) the ingredients listed is aluminum starch octenylsuccinate & frangrance. I don’t think anything aluminum is safe so I won’t be buying this again. I was hoping for a natural dry shampoo replacement. Most dry shampoos use the rice powder but are heavily fragranced. The search continues, I’ll think I’ll try & find an edible rice starch.

Even with vigorous shaking, it's almost impossible to get any powder out of the container! We tried enlarging the holes in the shaker, using a large heated nail, but that, too, produced only a negligible sprinkling. We couldn't pry or cut the top off, either. The powder, itself, may be okay, but it certainly isn't worth the time and effort required to get to it. Vote NO!

I have tried many talc free baby powders and found this to be one of the best! Either they are too thick and slide off the skin while caking and making a mess or they are too fine and feel like dusting powder, yet this one feels the most natural and just like powder but a lot safer. I use it as well in the hot summer humid climate when the skin is constantly damp. This acts as a cooling and soothing agent keeping the skin around my neck, armpits, crouch and legs dry. A wonderful and amazing product.
