First of all, we do have a whole-house humidifier in our air-forced heater; however, it caused the duct rusted and damaged. Of course, we have tried a lot of humidifiers before this whole-house humidifier installed. We debate if we keep turn on the whole house humidifier to improve sleeping quality and damage the HVAC system. Finally, we found this HIGH capacity reservoir humidifier with the ultrasonic method. The control is touchpad bottoms and the remote is the bonus. I do like the target humid rate setting (called "CONSTANT HUMIDITY) with the power (Min-MId-Max). If you don't use RO water, you better stay in Mid or Min(one drop or two drops on LED display) to avoid white small dust. I don't know anything about ANION now. It will shut down automatically when water is low. I can't complain about the built quality but noise from water (Max output setting, three drops); otherwise, it is very quiet and dime its display under sleep mode. Overall, it does solve our current problem and will see if there is any problem occurs.

After purchasing lesser humidifiers, this is a beautiful purchase. Does everything I want it to do. It’s easy to use it is a top loading humidifier, at double the capacity of most humidifiers. It’s quiet it does what it’s supposed to do unlike many humidifiers I have bought in the past - this one does what it supposed to do, and does not humidify the floor. Lol. Highly recommend this unit to anyone. I am going to start switching out my smaller humidifiers to one of these larger ones. I have a 1400 square-foot house. I only have one of these units at this time. I am anticipating buying another two to cover the whole house area.

Update - 5 months later, unit just stopped working. No signs, no damage, no leaking, just won’t turn on. Save yourself the trouble and go with the known brands like Objecto that last for 5 years+ Arrived today. Simple to set up (remove foam inside, add water, plug, start!) its a relatively large unit and very light. The thinness of the unit makes me question it’s longevity but we shall see! Whisper quiet, looks very nice, and love the remote control. It’s nice going from the humidifier where you have bend over to find the ON button and, fill and flip. Water is added from the top so it’s VERY user friendly. The stream started immediately. I HOPE it lasts as long as the objecto, which lasted 5 years 🤞🏼

Just received. Set up in about 5 mins and most of that was taking out of box and filling. Chicago air is dry in the winter. Using to humidify our plant room. Love that there is nothing to replace - no filter or moisture wick. Remote is a nice add. Plastic and does not feel durable but have had big brands before and spend a ton on filters, I quit cleaning them because it is a pain to do, had to take off tank and fill up in sink and put on again. This is a top fill - 2.5 gallons. Use a old milk jug to fill. Not cleaned yet but really not a lot to get gummed up. Things like this works hard and do not need to be heirlooms to hand down to kids. If I get a couple of years out of it I will be happy but idea of nothing to replace already makes me happy.

Incredible - well worth the price. So easy to set up and use. No noise. 5.75" wide x 5.75" deep x 27" high. In my pic, mist comes out of top and veers off to left - you can see that the mist shoots high (higher than the top of the photo). I've filled it up twice in 1 wk - ran it on medium mist at 60% humidity for maybe 10 hours many days. Very light-weight - so make sure to place it where no one can easily knock into it or you'll have water all over. I fill my 1 gallon pitcher 3 times to fill the humidifier. To clean, just take off the lid and you can easily access inside the unit. I'm very happy with this unit. I've used humidifiers for years and am just now realizing that all humidifiers from now on will be top filling and no more filters... YAY.

This is my second of this product...and of course they changed it in the meantime! However the main things still apply: large capacity for water...silent...easy to fill...can change how much mist you want with remote...and the downside remained as well: the white powder it makes along with the mist...this unit also has a window into the tube so that when you are filling it, you can see how close to the top you are getting...I have not been able to see the water level! So I just make sure of the volume of water that I am adding so don't need to rely on the little window...also the booklet could be written better!

Works great runs silent. Helps humidify house. We had a lot of problems last winter with static in our house due to super low humidity. I’m an HVAC tech in az and I just don’t like the thought of running a long waterline in my attic to hook a home humidifier to my furnace that “might” work well. Also might have a lot of issues. This is better solution for me. Humidifies fine refilled every other day. Kept home around 20-30% rh. Has UV light in it to help kill bad stuff in water.

Worked well for 9 months. Today when I went to fill it, water gushed out the seam where the tank and base join. After I cleaned the mess, I unplugged the unit, emptied it and checked the flow valve, then dried to & bottom thoroughly before putting in half a gallon of reverse osmosis water. But when I plugged it in, I heard a loud pop and knew instantly it had shorted out and died. It never saw a drop of our hard tap water. Mine was Model KC-MH-028, and I see that the item currently for sale is a different model now, so you can't even trust these reviews to be about the item depicted above! The above item is a new design, re-engineered to have the water tank on the bottom instead of the top. Totally different.
