Purina Pro Plan Urinary Cat Wet Food Pate Variety Pack, (12) 5.5 oz Cans

Both of my cats love this food. I feed them 1/4 of a can twice daily to supplement their Hill’s c/d prescription food. I mix the wet food with a full Churu tube and several tablespoons of warm water and they absolutely love it. I switched to this food after one of my cats started to develop urinary crystals and was struggling to urinate. Since we switched to this wet food along with the prescription food (about 3 months ago), she hasn’t had any issues! While it is a little pricey, I struggled to find a wet food that both of my cats liked that was actually healthy for them. I’ll continue to purchase this food as long as it exists or at least as long as my cats still enjoy it.

My cat eats this. He likes it alot. It has helped his urinary tract pain. He doesnt scream anymore when going potty. I wish I could find it in stores more easily. Good price. Sometimes the cans are dented. 8/16/2026 update: the previous purchases of the Purina wet cat food had dents in nearly every can. This has happened before as well. The packaging apparently isn't protecting the product.

One of my male cats had 2 run-ins with struvite crystals and was put on an expensive prescription diet that he wanted absolutely nothing to do with. We tried Purina Pro Plan Urinary Cat Wet Food in the hopes he would like it better, and he absolutely did! Not only did he like the taste better, it’s far more affordable than prescription food and he has been happy and healthy on it for the last 10 years or so— no signs of struvite crystals returning, he’s a picture of health with a very shiny coat. Seems very easy for him to digest, too, as he doesn’t have the random puking episodes he used to have with other foods. He definitely prefers the pate version versus the chunks (and I can appreciate the lack of odor and better appearance this way). We’ll likely keep him on it for the rest of his life. Thank you, Purina, for keeping my cat healthy and staving off expensive vet and prescription food bills!

Thought it may be good to keep my older cats healthy kidneywise but my older cats are picky so they didnt go for it.

I like having a case of this in the house and buying the best quality canned food from our local family-owned pet supply store. Those more expensive cans are mixed into the feeding rotation to prevent food/meal boredom, and our two gals never turn away from these tried-and-true Purina Pro Plan Urinary foods. I get one case of these two flavors each month (on subscription) and one case of the other two flavors offered. A good solid base for our cats; the local water here is quite tasty, but very "hard" and we don't need to introduce extra mineral content into their eating or drinking; cats are prone to kidney and urinary tract issues, so distilled water and a base of PPP Urinary Tract is our best bet.

The important distinction There are two different Purina Pro Plan urinary wet foods: 1. Pro Plan Urinary Tract Health — regular, non-prescription food * Helps maintain urinary health by reducing urine pH and providing low dietary magnesium. 2. Pro Plan Veterinary Diets UR Urinary St/Ox — therapeutic veterinary diet * Specifically formulated for cats with urinary crystals/stones and can help dissolve struvite stones and reduce recurrence of certain urinary stones. I always use #1 to maintain the urinary track of my cats. They have been healthy all of their lives and have not required more in-depth urinary support because of this.

Always had trouble getting our cats to drink enough water, though they enjoy drinking from the sink occasionally. This water fountain is a game changer for getting cats to drink more water.

These helped cure my cats UTI. It's life saving :)

My picky cat likes it and is is gentle on his failing kidneys.

Great product but it would be nice to receive your complete order and not partial so you need to go through all the b...... to get re-imbursed for the boxes missing......besides that, yes the product is great!
