The Workhorse Stand Your Studio Needs
Every photographer ends up with at least a few of these, because they are genuinely useful and they do not ask much in return. The aluminum alloy construction keeps the stand light enough to carry to a shoot without complaint while still being rigid enough to hold a softbox, umbrella, or strobe confidently at full height. The three leg stages spread wide for a stable base, and the thumbscrew clamps tighten down securely at each section. Sections slide smoothly and adjustment is quick. At 75 inches fully extended it covers the height range most portrait and product setups need. Folded down it packs small and pairs well with a carry bag for location work. The realistic caveat: this stand is sized for light to medium loads. A heavy monolight with a large softbox at full extension deserves a sandbag on the legs. Within those sensible limits it has been completely reliable. For the price, the build quality is better than expected and it holds up well over repeated use. A solid, unpretentious stand that earns its spot in any photo kit.

If I could rate 10 stars I would, hands down the best light stands I have found.
Finally, a sturdy stand that is WELL worth the price. These aren't your average stand, they are steel, and heavy, but I no longer worry about putting my lights up 13' and swaying in the breeze. I have many stands from Manfrotto, Avenger, etc. I have C stands, drop spreader stands, regular light stands, but these are now my go-to. I shoot sports on location, in gyms, on fields, and wherever the teams are at. I load them up in a wagon so weight isn't generally my biggest concern, but stability is and these are the most stable I have found. They are also spring-loaded, so they wont crash down if let down quickly(still wouldn't recommend you do that). The friction knobs are plastic, and that's what usually breaks on my stands, but they seem to be well built, and hope if I do need replacements I can find them. 100% would recommend to anyone looking for a sturdy stand.

For the price, theyโll do just fineโฆ
First off, these are better than the price might suggest. And for two! Will they replace any of my heavy duty light stands or C-stands? No. To be sure, they are a little bit flimsy IMOโฆBUT at this priceโฆtheyโre cheap & cheerful. I purchased them knowing that they were simple lightweight stands. So itโs all good. And purchased with ZERO intention of replacing any of my other stands. I got these to leave at a friendโs house to shoot products/jewelry that she occasionally sellsโฆbecause it was easier than taking down some of my other stands and something that she could also set up on her own with the continuous lights that I also purchased. (And yeah, Iโm not about to explain the ins & outs of strobesโฆlet alone figure out how to trigger them with a phone.) Would I trust them with a heavy-ish mono light & softbox? Insideโฆthey seem up to the task. Outside? Not unless they were heavily sandbagged. Even then, that might be asking a bit much. BUT, given the price, for indoor useโฆtheyโre fine. Especially if one doesnโt want, or canโt, shell out the big bucks for something considerably heavier AND significantly more expensive. Even then, a sandbag isnโt out of the question if one is using a larger softboxโฆor has dogs near the set. ;-) So why 4 stars instead of 5? Theyโre decent stands but I donโt think that they can stand up to the rigours required of truly professional stands out there. And wouldnโt want to mislead anyone into thinking that theyโre the same. For occasional/home use, theyโre great. For location work like what I doโฆtheyโll stay at my friendโs house.

this stand goes up really high, so it's very tall, very professional, very sturdy, easy to use, fits on my ring light perfectly and very stable.

Perfect Light Stand for Any Photography Setup!
This stand is a dream come true for anyone looking to level up their studio or on-location shoots. The build quality is excellentโsturdy but lightweightโmaking them easy to transport without sacrificing stability. For the price, this stand delivers exceptional value. Whether youโre a beginner or a professional, the Neewer Light Stands are a solid investment for your gear collection.

Sturdy
Replaced my broken Neewer tripod on my ring light. It's pretty heavy duty, I like it better than the tripod this light came with. Probably cause its an older model. It locks perfectly, no issues there.

Meh. They work, but only kinda.
Guess I know going in that these wouldn't be perfect, but I bought two and they are both slightly different and both have issues beyond the usual "oh well, it was cheap" problems. The biggest problem is that the stud is loose on top of one of them; they are riveted on, so its not like I can just tighen it up. When I put a light on there, it kind of bobs around loosely. Not very encouraging. The other stand's legs are so tight that setting it up takes two people (one to push and one to wiggle the legs down the body of the stand). Minus these problems, the stands seem very nice. In hind sight, I would have rather spent a bit more money for a really nice stand then deal with these, but I was on a budget and they do function well enough.

Stands that deliver!
Impressive quality for amateur use and at a very attractive price. The sections slide smoothly and the thumbscrew clamps are easy to tighten. The base legs spread to give a stable support which will be adequate for most amateur-sized lighting, although because of the relatively light weight of the stand I couldn't be sure that it will support a large softbox - but these are not really intended for heavy professional use. I am consistently impressed with the value and quality of Neewer products. Recommended.

Perfect 10/10
Stable, tall. Perfect height for Neewer lighting products. Be ware, the stand itself is not six feet but reaches six feet when paired with product. Beautiful light design. Would buy again if I needed another light.

Perfect quality-price!
Perfect for what I use it for. I put foam heads on top and it sticks perfectly. A little simple and cheap-like but mine never broke, I have the other one stored in case the first one breaks. Only thing is, I thought for 35$ I had the stand AND the bag. My mistake.
