Men's Fisherman Irish Rib Crew Neck Wool Sweater (100% Pure Wool)

Bought for my son as a Christmas gift. Great fit, style and warmth. Loved the color and thickness of the sweater

I bought one to try out size and fit, and it was awesome. Great quality, very comfortable, and a handsome look. The wool is fairly thick, but definitely not bulky and a pleasure to wear. I would call it a very fine sweater. Sadly, it came with one arm seam not stitched at all, but I was able to return it with no issues and a replacement will arrive tomorrow - super fast service. I liked it enough, and was pleased enough with the seller that I bought a second one, which will also arrive tomorrow. We live in a cold climate, but this lovely sweater will certainly take some of the bite out of winter!

Wonderful 100% Merino Wool Sweater. Ordered 'direct from manufacturer' option with tracking, came two days before the suggested date ... just before the next cold spell. Warm, very well made, 42" chest, ordered a Men's large, charcoal, Fisherman Irish Rib Crew Neck, fits perfectly over shirt and under a wind/rain jacket. I play the fiddle, now will learn some Irish jigs, very happy. Well pleased!

I'd first like to thank Amazon for doing this right. I ordered. Cancelled. Then reordered the right size. One email looked confusing. I replied explaining. Amazon got it right in the first place. This is a beautiful sweater. Watch the chest measurement the closest. I measured 40 tightly. Thought I'd need a small. Thought about it and thought I could use the extra 4 inches. I was right. This medium fits good and is almost not large enough. As another reviewer said that his sweater stretched some over time. This should continue to be a really good fit. Oh...I don't know about not being good in moderate cool weather. Not for an old man like me. We like being warm. I thank Aran Crafts for a wonderful sweater. It's not easy finding a real thick sweater these days.

I've been wanting a rugged looking fisherman style sweater for a while and has been eyeballing one from another company but it was 3x this price and not Irish. So I did a little digging for alternatives and stumbled on this brand. I bought the sweater in charcoal and it's exactly what I was after. Fits great, love the look of it, very warm, the charcoal color is really nice and has little flecks of lighter gray here and there that are really handsome. Some people in these reviews seem to think they smell sheepy, but I really like the way it smells and it's not pungent at all. Also it's a tad itchy, but in an oddly pleasant way. Definitely gonna be wearing this all the time and am also looking at another one by this company. 1 Year Update: Had the sweater for a year and I still love it. Very comfortable. Whatever "sheepy" smell it had when I bought it is totally gone. I will say it has loosened up a good bit and has kind of that loose, floppy sweater vibe going on a bit now which is nice for around the house, but I dunno if I'd call it a sharp look for going out. I feel like I could probably wear a size down and am considering buying a small. Only other downside at the 1 year mark is that this thing for sure pills a good bit. I have picked a lot of sweater fuzz off of it in the last year. Especially around the arms/elbows. All in all still a big fan of this sweater, especially for this price.

Very nice and well built sweater. Sizing is pretty much spot on. It's not next to skin tight but also a slight fitted/loose feel. This could be used as a stand alone sweater or as a base layer depending on situation. Stiching provides a closed air space to trap heat, even better with a coat or soft shell jacket over it. Like any wool sweater it's best to wear a shirt underneath to avoid the slight itch some may feel time to time, but otherwise low on that category. Never wear cotton underneath during winter activities. Old school approach is to wear a linen shirt under to aid in moisture wicking and heat retention to keep barrier between skin and wool. Nylon doesn't produce microplastics either. Modern approach could be a polyester and/or nylon winter type base layer. Both can work depending on need.

Warm cozy and stylish. I bought for hunting to use as a layer . It does good when your know your layer setup during cold weather . I’ve also worn it around the house on the moisture drafty days and it keeps me much warmer which keeps the heater down a tad bit by wearing . Cautious tho , it’s gonna smell when you first get it but that didn’t bother me since I sprayed odor spray on it for control to use while hunting . And I actually think it may have helped me smell more like an animal. lol so for me this was an awesome deal .

I wanted a warm sweater made with natural materials (wool) and I really love this sweater. It's warm, fits perfectly and looks great. Remember to wash these sweaters as little as possible and when you do, only in cold water hand wash. I bought a few more sweaters like this with different patterns and colors, and don't regret buying any of them. I didn't find them scratchy or itch, even those with a higher collar.

Very pleased with this wool sweater. It is a good fit, well made and very warm. In my opinion excellent value for the price.

Per il maglione non ho parole per quanto lo trovo bello, la taglia è azzeccata e così anche il colore. Maglione fantastico, ottimo in un set casual (la morte sua) ma persino elegante, volendo. La spedizione è stata molto rapida. Insomma per riassumere, persino più soddisfatto delle mie stesse aspettative.
