Product description 200 x 3.2g tablets Suitable for sanitising of Poultry and Livestock drinking water. 1 tablet in 500 Litres of water gives 2 parts per million active available chlorine. 1 tablet in 250 Litres of water gives 4 parts per million active available chlorine. This disinfectant has been approved by Defra for disinfection of inanimate surfaces where an approved product is required to be used under the control legislation for the following specific disease(s) orders: Poultry diseases including avian influenza, influenza of avian origin in mammals, Newcastle disease, paramyxovirus at a dilution rte of one gram of this Prosan Chlorine Disinfectant Tablets are the safe alternative to liquid bleach (sodium Hypochlorite) and often referred to as Sodium Hypochlorite Tablets, Chlorine Tablets, Bleach Tablets or NaDCC Tablets. Typically, 1 pot of 200 Tablets makes 1,000 Litres of HOCl Chlorine Solution at 200ppm. Chlorine or Chlorination Tablets are Fast Acting, Fast Dissolving in an effervescent base. Simply add to water to create a disinfectant solution that is ready-to-use. Chlorination tablets release a stable and accurate solution of free available chlorine – perfect for due diligence. Drop 1 tablet into clean (potable) water to get a solution strength of 1,000 parts per million (ppm/L) The 18mm diameter enables them to fit easily into a trigger spray. Our tablets have undergone extensive testing against: oEN13697 – Fungicidal Activity oEN13704 – Sporicidal Activity oEN1276 – Bactericidal Activity oEN17126 – C.Difficile oEN1650 – Fungi & Yeast Prosan Chlorination Tablets contain 1.67g Nadcc which is also referred to as sodium dichloroisocyanurate and/or troclosene sodium. Technical: Contains Sodium dichloroisocyanurate (sometimes referred to as Troclosene sodium.) Abbreviation: NaDCC. When dissolved in water, the tablets produce Hypochlorous acid (HOCl or HClO). Much cheaper than bottle of bleach where youre buying water and plastic. Pop one in the bottom of the toilet and it fizzes up and leave the toilet pristine. Add to a bottle and use for getting rid off tea and coffee stains.

Wrong product size description
I have bought these before and like all types of these tablets, they do exactly what is expected of them. My only beef is that, as often with Amazon, the advertised weight of the tablets is shown as 3.2gm when I fact they are only half that at 1.67gm. Obviously I'm a bit p***ed off, though it does clearly say further down in the product dilution and useage information, that they are only 1.67gm. Nonetheless, the primary advert is what most people will go by and that is self evidently incorrect. So BEWARE, the quantity is correct, the tablet size is not.
