FOUR REASONS Color Depositing Shampoo, Platinum Blonde Toner - Sulfate Free

I really like this product. It does a great job tinting bleached hair (or my highlights) a vivid pink color without damaging my hair. I do not have to leave it in for 20-30 minutes for it to work either. I leave it in for about 3-4 minutes while I am doing the rest of my shower and it works great! I actually love the way it looks as it fades because then I get all these different pink tones which occur. It can cause some pink discoloration in your shower floor- but it comes off easily with cleaning.

Good experience, it improved my hair color after it had begun to fade. Loved the color and how easy it was. I received compliments on the color right away. Recommend, definitely.

I have a sensitive scalp, so I need a shampoo that doesn't have sulfates. I am new to this brand and first purchased the Rose Gold Shampoo and Conditioning Mask in the same color. I decided to come back and get the Pearl. I am a retired hairdresser and absolutely love this brand. First, the shampoo. If your hair is dry, or bleached, first you shampoo your hair with a Dr. Bronner liquid soap. This gets rid of any buildup of products. Then use the color shampoo and leave it on the whole time you shower, then rinse and use a normal conditioner. The shampoo has way more staining power in 10 minutes than the Mask does in 30 minutes. People are trying to tone their hair leaving on the mask, it's the shampoo you want, the mask is light in staining power but great in conditioning. The mask is absolutely awesome and I would use this in a neutral or same color, once a week at least, makes your hair feel fantastic. The color is really much more intense in the shampoo. If you're hair is in pretty good shape and not dry you may or may not get much color. It clings to your dryer spots. The shampoo washes out in a couple shampoos. It's fun to try and see what the different tones will do to your hair. You can also mix a little of the Pearl (which is a purple tone to get rid of some yellow, not brass) mix it with some basic shampoo to get a little tone, great for gray hair. If you are trying to cut brass after a bleach, use a real toner and then use these for maintenance. You can mix any of the shampoo colors too and dilute them as needed. I have colored light blonde in warm tones which is what I like and it was getting a little yellow, used this and softens it so it's a little more sandy blonde, still warm as I like. Very happy with these products, might try some of their other products.

I wanted something that helped keep the color in my hair longer. Thought I would give this a try. Half the bottle down and it’s great. The shine and softness of my hair is perfect, I didn’t notice any unpleasant smell so bonus points for that, and so far my hair looks as good as the day I got it colored, double bonus for color retention! Value isn’t bad either. I do let it sit on my hair till I’m ready to rinse. It’s not a real foamy/sudsy shampoo, which I like. I’m pleased and will definitely buy again.

I have used Four Reasons products before and have liked them. While this is a nice color shampoo, I do prefer color conditioners. My granddaughter tried it for the ends of her hair that are still light from some previous bleaching to add blue to her hair and then going back to brown that had faded out a bit (she wanted her ends to match the top part of her natural hair growth)-it didn't do much, but perhaps she needs to leave it in longer, which is more difficult with shampoos as they can be drying. That's the main problem with color shampoos - if you need to leave them in for a longer time, it's not so good for your hair, especially if the ends are damaged from a previous bleaching, as hers are. I used it on my baby fine natural hair and it did add a tiny bit of richness to the color but this isn't formulated for non-colored hair so it really didn't do much there either. I just used Dhue color conditioner and it made my hair look amazing and rich and shiny. It's for natural hair or color-treated hair, which I like. I'll stick to that. So, while Four Reasons makes some good haircare products, this one isn't quite right for what I or my granddaughter need.

overpriced, cheaply formulated product. barely made a difference color wise. I cant believe they sell this crap for 30 bucks a bottle. the idea : use shampoo to dye your hair is flawed. you should not focus color on your roots!

I bought this to temporarily cover a terrible salon dye job until my next colouring. It was a really great solution to tone down what could best be described as carrot orange. I've continued using it as my roots grow just to extend my salon visits. Pretty decent grey coverage! I leave it on for a good 5 minutes while I wash and then quickly condition to not rinse out too much brown. It is a bit drying but I control that with a spray in conditioner. Is a good fit for me!

Used this to maintain vibrancy of my hair colour whist on holiday in sunny climate. Used it 3 times over2 week period and worked a treat in preventing my hair which is very light in colour from being bleached even lighter by the sun. My hair is porous so combined it with repair shampoo to help distribute colour, and left it on for 5 mins. Had coloured my hair rose gold before going on holiday. Choose sulphate-free as felt this kinder to my hair which I believed helped to maintain its condition whilst away.

perfect pinky rose gold. Definitely need lighter hair for it to work.
