Works good with my thick, course, natural hair. I don't see a lot of breakage as I did with my previous brush when brushing hair dry. Comfortable in my hands when brushing. I will purchase again and recommend.

My 17 year old has thick hair down to his lower back. He struggles with finding the right kind of brush that will both accommodate the thickness, while providing the softness and flexibility of the bristles. This Wet Brush is what he has used for about 6 years while growing it out. There are less bristles to help with the thick hair, and it is really easy to clean. The only flaw I can find is in the quality. My son needs a new one once or twice a year, usually due to the handle breaking off. His hair is super thick and he pulls hard. Despite that, it is still our #1 brush.

This brush is a game changer for my 8-year old daughter’s fine, but so-much-of-it, long hair that tangles within hours. We have been using the tangle teezer (which works amazing on my fine hair) for years but hair brushing time always lead to tears. She would get the top layer untangled but underneath was always a mess I would have to help with. This brush changes that! She brushes her hair out wet in the shower with conditioner which helps so much, but then is able to get tangles out when it’s damp and dry also. This brush gets all the layers of her hair with minimal effort and pain. I’m so glad for this purchase.

A little background information on my hair: I have very thick, wavy hair that goes down to my booty. Since it's very long and has been dyed multiple times.. it has been a struggle to maintain and manage because of how easily tangled it gets due to how damaged it is. My showers has always resulted in the nastiest tangles and I found myself finger combing my hair in the shower with conditioner for a good 20 minutes.. then another additional 20 minutes outside my shower with a brush that snagged and pulled my wet hair. Seriously.. ain't nobody's got time for that. I needed a solution and decided to get a wet brush because I saw it everywhere and decided to order one on Amazon. Honestly, I was skeptical.. but I was already spending so much money on expensive hair products so why not change up my brush? After showering, I decided to put the brush to the test. I used it without any leave in conditioner and only used it on my hair that has been washed with regular shampoo and conditioner. While brushing, I found that it doesn't pull my wet hair or snag my ends at all! It took me around 5 minutes to comb my whole head this time around. Skip the expensive conditioners, get this brush a cheap leave in conditioner suited for your hair type and you're golden.

Great and flexible. It markets itself for “thick hair” but that’s just a marketing ploy - as all wet brushes are for thick hair. Minus two stars for the expensive price as I’ve since found it being sold cheaper.
