These work well if you follow directions and don't overtighten mask
These have helped dramatically reduce the most serious nose bridge redness and blisters and pain when used with a Resmed F20 PAP full-face mask. But you do have to follow the instructions: clean and let dry both the gel pad and your face before application, and apply the gel pad when you're lying down. The gel pad does not have adhesive and its stickiness requires getting rid of enough skin oils between the pad and the skin. A greasy moisturizer might also be a problem, so either don't apply it on the relevant area or apply just a little and make sure it has time to be absorbed into the skin before bed. One great thing about these gel pads (and probably others) is that they improve the seal of the mask (at least on my face) allowing me to loosen the mask more, reducing pressure on my nose bridge even more. I think many PAP users are overtightening their masks and that's causing these red mark issues. If loosening the mask and using these gel pads isn't working, you may want to talk to your provider about trying another kind of mask altogether.

Save your money
Did not work-- I use a nose mask and the pad did not stay in place. It occluded air flow and caused the mask to leak. There was no way to make it fit and cushion as I expected.

Excellent Seal, But Too Tight for My Comfort
Great Seal and Comfort, but Too Much Pressure for Me The Impresa Nasal Gel Pads have some excellent qualities. The pads are soft, comfortable against the skin, and do a great job reducing irritation from wearing a CPAP mask. The thickness of the pads also helps create a strong seal around the mask, which can be beneficial for preventing leaks. In terms of performance, the pads were very effective. In fact, they may have been a little too effective for my needs. The improved seal seemed to increase the pressure and tightness of the mask, and over time, I found it uncomfortable. Eventually, the pressure buildup became too much for me, and I felt the need to remove the mask during the night. I can see these pads being a great solution for CPAP users who struggle with leaks or skin irritation. Unfortunately, while they improved the seal and comfort of the mask, the increased pressure made them difficult for me to use it long-term. Overall, it's a good product, but your experience may depend on your mask setup and personal comfort preferences.

Works well for me, but I understand the challenge people have.
I understand the mixed reviews, because getting a seal with a mask is difficult and it's not much different with a nasal gel pad. Sleeping with a a CPAP has always been difficult for me, even if I'm making it work. I use a full face mask and these gel pads are working great for me. I clean it between every use, wash my face before putting it over the bridge of my nose, and then it just holds in place (even pretty well before I put on the mask, but it hasn't moved at all once I have the mask on). It's done an amazing job nearly eliminating the pressure sores and redness on the bridge of my nose. I highly recommend people try them because it really can work. But expect some trial and error.

Update
These pads worked well in preventing discomfort and ulceration over the bridge of my nose. I also tried the ResMed Gecko but the Gecko's thickness seemed to cause air leaks around my mask. I originally thought there would be some sort of adhesive on the pad but that does not seem to be the case. They stay in place by friction between the pad and the skin. Therefore, when placing it over your nose you must be lying down and then simply place your CPAP mask over it. Addition to Original Review: The reason I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact that although it significantly reduces my discomfort over the bridge of my nose it did not eliminate it. I still have some discomfort and some tissue breakdown. Also, in relation to others reporting difficulty in placing the pad and keeping it in place while placing their mask over it, I have found that it is important to be certain to not put any tension on the wings of the pad when placing it. Also, I not only lie flat on my back but also tip my head back during initial placement of the pad. Once the top portion of the mask is in place you will no longer need to tip your head back making final placement of the mask easier. I hope these observations help because using a CPAP can be difficult enough without added problems. Good luck! Update: 3/7/25 I was still having some issues with leaking around the top of the mask. It turned out that the issue was mainly coming from placing the pad too high. This resulted in the wings coming up above the top edge of my mask. By lowering the pad so the wings ended up just barely inside the mask most of the leaking was stopped. I'm still giving them 4 stars because I'm still having to learn exactly where to place the pads and therefore occasionally still have some minor issues with leaking at the top of the mask. This issue is greatly diminished but since I still have occasional leaking I felt I could not increase the score to 5 stars.

Disappointed
Difficult to get the pad to adhere and stay in place. Would not recommend.

Will save your nose from mask!
I have a Bipap machine for sleep apnea. After using double band-aids across the bridge of my nose and still waking up to red, sore marks, I decided to give these a try. Glad I did!! Reusable-just clean it with mask wipe and replace in covering square. Takes a couple of tries to get the hang of it but don’t give up. I wear a full mask-tilt my head back, place across nose, then bring my nose strap over and put in place on top of it. Amazing difference!

They don't stay on your face, don't bother.
Others said it, but I had to know for myself I guess: these are very hard to use. They don't stay on your face, so it's impossible to keep them in place under your mask. Worse in a way, they are too small for my face. Sure I have kind of a big head, but my main area of irritation is between my eyebrows, where the top of my full face mask presses at night. I tried to make thees work for 2 nights and just threw them away. Eh.
