With temps in the 90’s and high humidity, life was difficult enough. Add to that my job as a cashier in a fast-moving wholesale warehouse and you have the definition of “dead on my feet”! Halfway through the shift, my hair was soaked and I looked as if I just climbed out of the shower. We had A/C and it was good for the shoppers, but for us cashiers it fell short because of all the lifting and packing we are required to do. One of the floor managers noticed my red face and wet hair. She removed the O2Cool fan she was wearing and told me to try it while she went on break. It was Heaven on Earth! I couldn’t believe how cool the air was and how effective the device was in delivering it. When I got home I went straight to Amazon and purchased the 2-pack. It was delivered the next day. We have cooler air now, but it stays in my pocketbook and will be accessible if needed. It is powered by two AA batteries. I always buy Energizers, so I’m assuming I will get a long run before I have to replace them. Bottom line? Run, don’t walk, to Amazon. You will get two fans for around $12 and next-day free delivery (with Prime). Summer is right around the corner!

I wanted a fan to use while wearing my fursuit and this is a decent size. The cord is a little short but it shouldn't be too big of an issue.

These are great. They cool nicely as they hang around your neck and they blow air up under your chin, which I prefer, without blowing in your face. They are nicely hands free also. Convenient. I’ve used them flat when I lay down also and they keep working even like that. Good air flow.

I purchased 3 of these units to take to Girl Scout camp because the temps were going to be extremely hot! We had a lot of hiking to do and I thought these would be light to carry around, which they are! You can barely feel you have it on. I read a lot of reviews stating how great it worked at Disney world which is a hot! I thought this would do the trick for midwest heat, but no such luck! On the days we used them, the heat index was well over 100 degrees and so I could barely feel the air. blowing on me. It did nothing to cool me down, or my kids. They string is adjustable so I moved it as close I could to my neck and I could still barely feel it. Perhaps if you had one of the fancier ones that had different speeds it would do the trick, but this one felt like a very low speed. It didn't have enough power as other neck fans I have had in the past. I did wear it for 3 days on the average of 6 hours per day, and the batteries were still going strong. It does make some noise but it's not very loud, especially if other noises are around you. If you are looking for a lightweight fan to use indoors this is great! When I tested it in the house with the AC, it seemed more powerful and worked great! If you have a job inside, this might work great for you. .

These are awesome! Great design because the blade is internal. Very efficient. Ran for over nine hours using rechargeable batteries during our trip to Europe during heatwave. Also good design as fan to put next to bed to keep cool. We used this a lot in rooms in Paris and London in rooms with no AC.

For a fursuiter it’s definitely not the strongest, and you’ll end up bringing a lot of batteries if you’re using it for long con walks, but it still gets the job done. It works, it’s reliable enough, and as long as you’re prepared for the power drain, it does what you need it to without any major issues.

Lately it has been very warm and uncomfortable because of the unusual hot spring time days. Since they cannot put on the air conditioner in our building because there is a whole process they have to follow; therefore, we have to live with the heat in our building until it begins to cool down a little outside. Great little gadget. Ideal for hot flushes or when your the only one at home for a short time and don’t want to put the air con on. It is a little heavier than I would of liked, but the price and fast delivery still makes it 5 star.

I bought this to wear at my job as I didn't have room at my workstation for a traditional fan and our A/C wasn't cutting it. The fan worked surprisingly well for its size. It didn't blast ice cold air at me like it was a jet engine, but it was comfortable. It has an adjustable strap which came in handy if I wanted the cool air closer to my face or needed it out of the way. This fan was light enough to wear for hours at a time and survived several hard knocks. The battery life was pretty good too. I usually got 25-40 hours out of them (turning it off at lunch helped).

Fabulous fan! It truly saved me during the heatwaves in Italy. You do need to use your own batteries, but they last a long time — much longer than I expected. The fan is lightweight, comfortable to wear, and surprisingly strong. Perfect for travel, outdoor events, or any hot day!
