I had been using the same facial scrub/cleanser for years, but when the price recently jumped significantly, I decided it was time to explore other options. After trying a basic cleanser with no exfoliation, I quickly noticed a difference—my skin didn’t look or feel the same, and my pores were more noticeable. So I started researching affordable, high-quality exfoliating cleansers that were also clean and ingredient-conscious—and that’s when I came across Acure’s Brightening Facial Scrub. I decided to give it a try, and wow, I’m so glad I did. This product is incredible. It’s not only more affordable than my old go-to, it actually works better. My skin looks brighter, smoother, and firmer, and I’m noticing that I don’t need to use as much moisturizer because my skin stays soft and hydrated longer. Even my hands feel noticeably softer after applying it! I was so impressed that when I saw it on sale at Whole Foods (likely because the brand is rebranding), I stocked up immediately. That’s how much I love this stuff. If you’re looking for an effective, clean exfoliating scrub that really delivers without breaking the bank—this is the one. Total game-changer for me.

I have used a few different brands of face scrub and most of them felt like they really weren't scrubbing anything off of my face. This one is different. It is quite gritty and my skin feels a lot smoother after using it. I also like that it isn't using any kind of plastic microbeads which then get washed down the drain and into our lakes and rivers. This is a great product that works well.

So good. Nothing else I've ever used in my long life of trying to be pretty has been this good at gently exfoliating, except LUSH cosmetics, but they still put some whack ingredients in their stuff & are mad expensive. However, this Acure stuff is totally equivalent to LUSH exfoliants; both work great, have clean ingredients, and neither tests on animals. LUSH smells a little nicer (if you don't mind fragrance). Acure doesn't smell bad at all, and has a better shelf life. I don't screw around with anything else at this point.

I use this once a week, every week and my skin is so smooth. IT smells like fall and is as effective as Exfolikate at a fraction of the I use it on my face, neck and decolletage. It is very gritty, so as you scrub it in you will feel it. I do not get the sting that I used to get with ExfoliKate, however. I follow it up with a facial oil (ELF Blue-ty) right away. Once I have used this to exfoliate my skin soaks up the oil. I am 58 and would not recommend someone my age using this more than once a week.

I bought this face scrub after everyone on Reddit said it was the closest match to the now discontinued Ole Hendrikson Walnut scrub. It is not. While the walnut scrub left my face feeling fresh, clean and quite honestly dermaplaned, this face scrub left an oily residue. I almost felt I needed to wash my face after using it. However being dry in the winter weather it works nicely as a cleanser and moisturizer.

I have truly seen results after using this product. My skin feels smooth, clean and bright after washing with it now for 2 weeks. The grit in the wash is rough but not too rough and my skin feels amazing after I use it. Would definitely recommend.
