Each coin pouch is handmade in Guatemala using a method known as Backpack weaving. Mayan women for centuries have made a variety of products using this method. They are made of 100% textured cotton that are hand dyed using local fruits, vegetables and insects. Because of this no two are exactly alike. The dyeing and weaving process allows for variations in color. Each artisan sets their own price along with hours they want to work using earth friendly production methods. Measuring 4.5 inches in length and 3.75 inches in height with one inside pocket and a smaller outer pocket, both zippered.
