High quality product.
I am a Kayaker. This product will be used in extreme emergency. All the products are well made and I requestered the PLD. I plan on testing it today. Instruction are easy to follow.

They have Zero Customer Service. 3 Attempts and not 1 real reply.
The product itself seems to be good. I Liked the ability to test it first (without setting off any alarms). Very easy to use. Construction of the PLB itself seems good. The clips for the belt and the life preserver are useless. They do not fit the PLB. I contacted Arcratex 3 times. Twice by phone (I live in FL - not far from them) and once by email. I got 1 reply that said "thank you for contacting us we have your email and will contact you soon". That was 4 or more weeks ago. I guess I will just tie a cord to it, put a carabiner on it and attach it to whatever when I have to ditch in the ocean. Don't look for help from them as you are just a customer and obviously not worthy of a reply. "You reap what you sow" and with this attitude someone with better customer service will replace them; their customer service and tech support are some of the worst I have come across in my life. Let the buyer beware! No matter how good the product is, if there is no support you might as well have just bought a rock.

Seems to work fine
I work offshore in the oilfield and I'm doing a job in Mexico. I bought the beacan for a little peace if mind for me and my family. Kinda like owning a gun, best to have and not need, than to need and not have.Let's just say I hope I never have to use it, but I have it.

BOUGHT COMBO WITH LIGHT..LIGHT DID NOT WORK....DID NOT WORK..REG. BEACON ..NOTED CHEAPLY MADE BECON....CALL FLORIDA MANUFACTURE COMPANY ,GOT TRANSFER TO ANSWER MACHINE..DID THIS TWICE AND LEFT CLEAR MESSAGE AND CONTACT INFORMATION..NO RETURN CALL . NO WARRANTY AS ADVERTISE...HOPE THE BEACON WORKS IF NEEDED????HATE TO LOSE LIFE....MANUFACTURE WARRANTY NO GOOD AND NO SECURE / TRUST IN PRODUCT....CHEAPLY MADE... THIS PRODUCT SHOULD BE REGILATED DUE TO IMPORTANCE AND LIFE.
