English Tea Shop Organic & Fairtrade Earl Grey - 20 Paper Tea bag Sachets, 45 g

So I was super skeptical after reading the reviews. There seemed to be quite a few reviews saying that it tasted like normal black tea. So when I opened the box, I took out a tea bag and smelt it and I must admit it did smell like plain old black tea. So I approached the whole situation with pessimism. I left the tea bag in the water to steep for 2-3 mins and added a dash of milk. And I must say I thought it was delicious. Definitely tastes of Earl Grey. Maybe others got a different batch but the box of tea I received is definitely Earl Grey!

I have tried many Earl Grey teas, as I dont drink normal tea and i really think these are the best i have tried and dont buy any other brand. It has a lovely clean taste and brews perfectly. I have read other reviews and found the lower stars hard to believe. Of course it tastes different to the loose leaf Earl grey tea you can buy, but for the convenience of tea bags these are great.

Very pretty box and wrapping. Lacks a little in the bergamot flavour compared with other brands.

I managed to order these without noticing they were earl grey, which I don't normally drink, but they're really delicious! If you're not keen on earl grey I would say these are still worth a try because the quality is really excellent.

Very distinctive smell and flavour you will always remember. I drink this occasionally.

These don’t smell of bergamot when you open the box or when you open the packet. I assumed that them being organic and individually wrapped meant they would be really good but they need more bergamot and lemon. If you leave the bag in as directed they’re a nice drink but I’m used to more flavour. They are nicely packaged and I like the envelope wrapper.

I only drink Earl Grey or Duchess Grey tea because I dislike breakfast everyday tea. I read the reviews and saw the Star rating and thought they must be pretty good? I don't know if they forgot to pop the bergamot into the batch I bought but there was not even a hint of citrus upon opening the box? Its so disheartening when you spend the extra to get some nice individually packed teabags for the Xmas period. I usually buy a good brand from Amazon on a regular subscription but as I was having friends coming over during the festive holidays I decided to get individual wrapped bags to put into my guest rooms. It looks nicer than boring teabags. I will not be buying these again. It's nice tea if you don't like Earl Grey!!! The whole reason I drink Grey family teas is because I love the citrus scent of bergamot and lemon. I never got that smell or taste from this brand and no I haven't got Covid. This was a complete waste of money as far as I am concerned. Infact I might try seeping the packaging in hot water and see if i get more flavour from that. I would give this a minus rating if I could. Sorry not for me.
