What are the torque specs

While the rings did not give recommended torque specs my scope recommended no tighter than 15 inch pounds

Will the 1” rings work with a 50mm objective lense?

I have a 6.5-20×50 scope on a Savage B17 with the 1.00 height version of these rings and scope objective clears with room to spare. I bought these in a .80 height also and the scope objective clears the barrel but sits too low for my eye to line up properly due to the height of the comb on the stock. Since the AR has a straight line barrel, action, and stock, with no drop in stock or"wrist" your eye would sit much too high to use even the 1.20 version of these. You can use a long picatinny riser to raise most rings high enough on AR but I like to use two "shorty: risers, one under each ring, to get them high enough. Saves weight and looks better.

Will this work on dovetail system?

no they will not. they only mount to a picatinny rail mount or weaver style mounts. these are too wide for dovetail .

Will this fit vortex 4x12x44mm? One person said it fit and other person said does not, im confused.

I just received the 0.8" height rings and mounted a Vortex 4-12x44 Copperhead scope on a Picatinny rail equipped bolt action. The fit was perfect.
