For more than 25 years, Dr. Charles Ciccone has been the forerunner in helping physical therapists explore how medications affect patient rehabilitation. And heโs been updating his text ever since to make sure you stay on the brink of science and innovation as drug changes occur every day and expectations for your role continually evolve. With the 5th Edition, youโll find even more case studies, review questions, information on vitamins and supplements, and expanded coverage of chemotherapy and cancer treatments. Review: Great Text - "Pharmacology in Rehabilitation" is a great text for Pharmacology. It focuses the pharmacology information on what is needed for Physical Therapists and other rehab professionals need to practice safely and how medication can enhance their practice. Review: Great Resource - In this text Dr. Ciccone provides excellent explanations and information relevant to practicing rehabilitation professionals. There are case studies at the end of the chapters with answers in the appendix. The digital code solely provides a digital copy of the book and no additional study or reference materials. I used this text for a transitional DPT Pharmacology course and found it quite useful.

Great Book for Clinical Reference
As a Physical Therapist it is not within my scope of practice to prescribe or administer pharmacological agents. However, I now have a better understanding of what to watch out for should my patient be having adverse effects and to know when to refer back to their MD for help thanks to this book.
