Does anyone have a recommendation for which adapter i should buy?

The pole sander head has a male connection and requires a pole with a female end. A standard broomstick won't work, unless you buy one of the adapters. However, hardware stores will carry a pole with the right end. I bought mine at Ace for less than $10.

Will this attach to a regular broom handle?

No, it does not fit a standard broom or painting pole. You need to purchase an adapter.

It has a male thread that interfaced only with a Goldblatt Handle

In the description it says it interfaces with standard extender poles, but it does not. But the pole along with the sander head

best I've ever used

Awesome. Have been finishing drywall for 25 years. . This is the best design I've ever used . So simple yo change paper. Not more fighting with and loosing wing nuts. .

Works pretty good

Works pretty good for a weekend type project. I used it while sheetrocking a wall I recently put up. My only complaint is it is really hard to get the sand paper inside the slots to lock it in.

not compatible with standard pole

Had to buy an adapter for the male threaded end so I can use a standard pole with sanding head, adapter costs almost same price as sanding head, bad design.

Seems like a quality product, however has a male fitting which makes it hard to find or make a pole to use with it, other than a Goldbatt pole.
