OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Countertop Soap Dispenser

This little guy makes me so happy! Finally! I think I have won the war! I bought this for dispensing dish soap, as I think my hubby squirts too much when he does dishes. I was constantly finding the small bottle of soap I kept on the ledge of my older sink empty. Did he ever refill it? No. So, to fix this problem, a better dispenser. One that doesn’t tip over and fall in the sink. One that is easy to pump, easy to fill, nearly disappears into the stainless steel and is attractive. I really love the huge pump top. I love the see-through base. I love the non slip bottom! A ring of almost sticky silicone fits snuggly in the base, making it sit where I placed it on the ledge. The bottle is full right now and not tippy at all. It’s very balanced. The top opens to a rather wide mouth which makes filling easier than a conventional bottle. No batteries to worry about like the touchless versions. A simple press easily gives you the amount of dish soap you desire. It’s easy to hold a scrub sponge right under the spout. The finish is pretty and blends in with my old stainless steel sink; it doesn’t stick out like the old (usually empty of blue soap) bottle. It wipes off with a towel and stays looking fabulous. I think this one has a really thoughtful design. I searched through loads of bottles to find exactly what worked for me, without costing over $40. I decided on OXO because it’s usually sturdy, and this one was a more mid-range price. A few upgrades without being too fancy and looking out of place in my nearly seventy year old kitchen that is the same…old tile counters, original sink, original cabinets (painted now) but with new stainless appliances, upgraded window, and a beautiful tile floor. Happy medium on both things. Hopefully, it continues to make me happy for years. I don’t change out stuff frequently. If it fails me in any way, believe me, heads will roll. I do not put up with products breaking and letting the manufacturer NOT hear about it. Things cost too much, and they should not market junk to us, and we should speak up, always. This has not disappointed me in any way.

Perfect product. Looks good. 1 pump discharge perfect amount of soap to wash your hands. Solid, does not move around when you use, and so far I am very happy from this product. I bought 2 for my both bathrooms. It is a little pricey but solid product and should last for very long time.

I really like this dispenser! Its not too small but has a weight to it that OXO is known for quality. Easy to fill and I like this style pump as its larger and more comfortable to put my palm on to dispense. Fits great on my sink tray gor daily use!

I purchased this 4 years ago and am ordering another after the cap finally snapped away from the tube. It's worth $25: it keeps clutter and dish soap bottles off the sink; it's stable and you can dispense the soap with the same hand you're holding your sponge or dish cloth in; it looks nice; and it lasted through 4 years of hard use.

I really like this dish soap pump. I almost returned it because it would not pump. There are no instructions and why would you think you'd need them, but I finally found that the head of the dispenser is locked in an off position. You have to twist it quite firmly to unlock it. Once done, it is easy to use, fill and it does not drip or slip on the counter. It is also nice looking.

This review is based on just a few hours of use and first impressions. I like it but after reading the one-star reviews I am worried that it may not be a lasting opinion. Maybe it'd be better if the plastic bottom were glass??? I noted that some reviewers ordered this based on a belief in OXO's good reputation for quality, but I discovered the very same design is offered under a variety names from other sellers, so maybe OXO isn't the manufacturer. I like the stainless look with my stainless sink and chrome fixtures. I hope it keeps on working as well as it does right now. I have zero trouble using the dispenser button. It works easily. I also like how easy it is to fill. No funnel needed which is good because I can't find my funnel anywhere. And the capacity is good which means it needs to be filled less often than my previous dispenser. Update: I've used the dispenser for several days now and like it so much I ordered a second one for my bathroom.

Update after 10 months: I still love appreciate this dispenser every day, and I consider it one of those little things that just makes life easier... it's silly, but dealing with dish soap is so consistently frustrating. (I don't have a dishwasher so I am hand washing dishes throughout the day.) I did add a second for hand soap a couple of months later, no problems with that either. It would be nice if they came in a smaller size, but that's hardly a complaint. Seriously, if you're looking for a dish soap solution, this is it. -------------------------------- I was so fed up with crappy dish soap pumps I REALLY wanted to find something different. There are a million different bottle designs out there, but it seems like they all use the same cheapo pump mechanism -- you know which one I'm talking about. That pump just doesn't work well, and it's guaranteed to fail before too long. So, I was looking for something higher quality and more durable. I was a bit reluctant to try this pump after reading some of the negative reviews, especially since there are no photos of the actual pump. Is it just the same crappy pump under a fancy cap? I don't want to waste $24 on another frustrating pump that's going to be broken inside of a year. But there were precious few alternatives that attracted me, and there were a lot of positive reviews, so I gave this a go. I am so glad I did! I've had this pump for almost 6 months so far, and ergonomically and functionally it is wonderful. * It's very stable on my porcelain sink. The base is broad enough to keep it from wanting to be tippy, and the rubber ring on the bottom does a great job at keeping it from slipping. The broad, flat button and light touch also contribute to stability in use. * The clear section at the bottom works very well as a sight gauge. I thought I preferred something where I could see how much soap was left in the bottle, but this is surprisingly much nicer because I find it prevents me from obsessing over how full it is and when I should add more soap. That sounds dumb, I know, but I've found it's such a relief not to have to think about it. When it's almost empty I know it, and fill it up. Otherwise, I never, ever think about it. One more thing off my mind. * And, the most important part, the pumping action is perfect! The broad cap makes it really easy to pump with a press of a finger or palm, as opposed to a tiny little button on a long post. The pump stays primed ready to dispense soap, you never have to pump it a few times to draw more soap back up to the top. It's got a very light touch and it's easy to choose how much soap you want: you can dispense a tiny amount with just a light press. * I am able to pick up the bottle and dispense some soap with one hand, using my forefinger to press the button. I saw that some people had questions about that. It's really not designed for that, the bottle isn't the right shape so it's a little awkward feeling, but I've found it easy to do in the few instances I've wanted to do it. * No problems as yet with any leaking or dripping. Oh my gosh, the thing doesn't drip soap from the spout! I hadn't even thought about that until just now. That has been a real annoyance with prior cheap pumps. So, after six months I am still VERY happy with this pump. I really hope it proves to be durable. It feels very high quality, so I have high hopes for its longevity. I just ordered another for hand soap -- we'll see how that goes!

I love this soap pump. Its well made, easy to take the top off and tells you exactly where to stop refilling. Looks minimal on the counter and grips well. Its satisfying and smooth to work.

Bello esteticamente e funzionale. Oxo sempre una garanzia di qualità

Easy dosage and no drip is what I wanted, and is what I got.

Muito bom, vale o preço. Bom para quem não gosta do dispenser associado com a esponja.

少しお高いかなと思いましたが、買って正解でした。プッシュした時に、一回分トローっときれいにスポンジに着地してくれるところが気に入ってます。
