quality not so good, mix good bad and average elaichi quality, last time i purchased open elaichi from local shop, it was muxh better than it and at 30% cheaper price

With seemingly endless shortages in the supermarkets, I decided to buy cardamom pods online. I’m pleased that I did! You can’t make a decent curry without them. Full of flavour and aromatic, they really do make the meal. Note though that it’s important to store cardamom pods in an airtight container. Very good value for money and a quality spice.

Cardamom are aromatic but not fully mature and few pieces are found hollow and not full bloomed

Good Quality Cardamom
Akbar Cardamom was a great buy for me. The elaichi pods are decent size, have more seeds, and have less husk.It has a good aroma and flavorsome when added to tea. A special mention to the 'Aroma Lock' ziplock packaging to keep the freshness and aroma intact. Moreover, it has no artificial colors or preservatives.

Okay quality but not excellent
Quality is just okay but not an excellent as expected from such a reputed brand. First, all pods are not equals, there are mix of small pods, second, flavor is not that great, I have crushed 4 pods and added in 1 cup tea but aroma is not there. Note: I don't have anosmia, rather I have strong ability towards any smell :-)
