Really high quality lifting hooks with a unique design
Huge fan of these grips. They are super heavy duty but still fairly comfortable. The thing that sets these apart from normal lifting hooks is the reversed nature of the hook. This works better for me as it allows me to feel more locked in than with a standard hook design. I especially like these for deadlifts, and they also work well for tight spaces like adjustable dumbbells with the cage where it is hard to fit a standard hook in or get a wrap around. They really lock in your grip and let you focus on the movement and target muscle. Overall, especially considering their unique design and I quality, I feel like these are a really good value and a great add to your gym bag.

Feel a bit weird
These take some time to get used to. The quality of the materials is great. They fit perfectly but the metal doesnโt make them feel too comfortable. The padding is great, good for lifting and working out if you can get used to the metal.

Comfortable for smaller hands
I tried these hooks out because I have terrible grip strength but a high sumo deadlift weight. Easily reached the point where I couldn't go higher on my sumos because grip strength was holding me back. Around the 200 lbs mark I was focusing more on grip than the actual lift and that's bad news bears and asking for injury. Tried these hooks out and no matter what I just couldn't get my fingers in a comfortable position around them. My wife tried them out for her 175 lbs deadlift and she loves them. She has smaller hands by far than I do so maybe it's just my specific hand size? It's also far more convenient for her because she hasn't having to wrap traditional straps around the bar and can't do it with one hand, so throwing these hooks on the bar is so much better for her. The wrist wrap is very comfortable and connects to the metal hooks with high quality nylon so this is one of those purchases that you buy once and never have to replace, it's that durable. The adjustable wrist strap and size accommodate both our hand/wrist sizes and provides great support when doing an actual lift so we (she) can focus on form and not worry about her fingers dropping the bar.

Good, not great.
The fit on these are good, but not great. Let me explain. They wrap well around the wrist, but the mechanical grip that you use on certain bars isn't a perfect fit. That doesn't mean that you won't have a mechanical advantage and able to hold on, it's just that it's not comfortable. That said, they are effective. You will be able to handle more weight capacity than you normally would because your grip isn't going to fail. So, it gets the work done, but because the hook can't adjust for different size handles, it's just not always going to be comfortable.

Very comfortable and effective alternative to straps
Testing out the Heavy Duty PRO Lifting Hooks: All areas outside of the hook are cushioned and comfortable. Even when using higher weight there wasn't any material digging into the skin. Higher weight for me is just over 400 pounds. The manufacturer claims they are rated for 600 pounds, so I'll leave that for the strong people to test. The strap is easily adjustable with Velcro and should fit virtually anyone. All materials and stitching are of high quality with no concerns over durability. The hooks are solid metal and both sides have anti-slip coating. This coating works well for sweaty hands while also gripping the bar securely. Even if the bar is being held at a slight angle while leaning forward, such as a split squat, the grip is secure and stable. There was a bit of adjustment needed as the hooks take away the feeling your hands would get from conventional straps or gloves. This is by design but for first time users of hooks like me, you need to trust the bar is secure and feel the tension is being transferred up the chain. I did test starting sets with the hooks off the bar until my grip started to fail. Then just a quick release of the bar and grab the hooks to continue the set. This is definitely faster than conventional straps. I would consider these hooks as a premium option to straps and they are priced accordingly. I am unable to find any faults with construction, quality of materials or the ease of use. These are also versatile as you can still wear gloves if needed and the hooks can be hinged out of the way if more grip work is desired. They also don't irritate my skin like straps do around my wrists. For comfort and reducing strain on aging joints and tissues, these are highly recommended.

Awesome for heavy pulling lifts with an Olympic bar
I don't use these unless I am doing a lift where I need them. I always try to train my grip strength as much as possible, so I put these on when I think I'll fail if I don't. Honestly, that means they only go on for DL, and that's at 3 bricks or more. My first straps were these all cloth ones (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01J7L8V3K), and I didn't really like them because they took too long to wrap around the bar while my legs were under tension. I moved to these ones with the wide rubber grip area (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BBLK8ND), but one of them bent in and one of them bent out, which I found distracting. These grips resolve both of those issues. The pre-molded steel curve goes right into position, so there are never any long moments holding a squat while wrapping, and they will never change shape (I will never hit the 600lb limit doing DLs). I was able to break 400 lb. for the first time using these. The padding is very comfortable. When I lift heavy, I want to be focused, and I do not want distraction - these remove the distractions I had with the other two styles. Highly rated, they have a permanent home in my gym bag.

deadlift works well
I use these for deadlifting. I have somewhat small wrists I think. These fit well and could go smaller. They are very comfortable on my wrist as well. I am getting the support for my wrists I need which is to just be able to focus on my form with these. I've used them for about 1.5 months now. They have held up just fine.

Takes the strain off grip so you can actually train your back
This set of heavy-duty lifting hooks works very well overall, with one important limitation: the only real drawback is that the hook faces away from your palm, which can feel a bit insecure on thicker-handled or larger-grip dumbbells.Overall performanceThese hooks provide strong support for pulling movements like deadlifts, rows, and shrugs, shifting more of the load from your fingers to your wrists so you can focus on the target muscles. The metal construction and padded wrist support make them suitable for heavier weights and longer sets without cutting into the skin.Comfort and buildThe padding around the wrist strap helps distribute pressure, making them more comfortable than thin fabric straps when lifting near your max. The steel hooks feel solid and do not bend under typical gym loads when used properly, which is important for confidence under heavy weight.Single con (hook direction)Because the hook curves away from your palm instead of into it, the dumbbell or bar can feel like it might roll out slightly when you are using thicker handles. This design is still usable and secure when you set the hook carefully, but with large-grip dumbbells it can feel less locked-in than hooks that curl directly into your palm.
