The book arrived today and I was excited to begin reading! Found the book jacket to have a strange feel and uncomfortable to hold. Then I opened the book to find there aren't any illustrations on the empty pages. I say empty because most have one to three sentences and that's it so 3/4 of the page is blank and blah beige. Guess one could write their own thoughts but that defeats purchasing a book by Hoda. Disappointed and wished I had waited to see the book in person before purchasing.

I Really Needed This Today is a collection of quotes from the Today show's Hoda Kotb. It’s a quote a day for a full year. She also gives her own personal anecdotes after each quote, mentioning celebrities, coworkers, family and friends. Her voice shines throughout. It’s sweet, funny and heartwarming at the same time. I just received this book today...and I love it. It's a day by day book of fun. Of course, I haven't finished it yet, but can't wait. I so look forward to Hoda's humorous thoughts about her life, adventures, and intermost self!

I started reading this book today. It's hard to put down, and I have almost gotten halfway through the book already. This book is a keeper to be reread many times. Order a copy today.

Hoda exudes positivity. I just bought 2 more as gifts! I just wish I was closer to one of her book signings! I’d even wait in line for that:)

Book itself is great but very poor shipping. Was in box without any padding. Dust cover had something black on it and there was dent in the hardcover.

I’m in love with this very special daily read. I look forward to grabbing it everyday usually when I’m sipping my coffee. This book Hoda has changed my mornings and I’m reminded during the day of each passage that’s written. Anyone that needs a quick daily read, GRAB THIS WONDERFUL BOOK OF THE FELT LOVE THAT GOES INTO EVERY DAY. BTW this memaw needs it with my two in a half year old granddaughter running me ragged!! ❤️

I bought this book, without reading anything about it, for my teenage daughter. Once it arrived, and I began to read the quotes and the book, I stopped reading Ms. Kotb's writing. I began putting sticky notes to my daughter throughout the book, because I wanted to give my daughter my thoughts, as well, without any influence. THEN, I read Ms. Kotb's thoughts, which were beautiful and personal and so amazingly insightful. I am hoping that it is understood the appreciation for this conglomeration and my creative out-take with my daughter...she'll be heading to college in a couple of years. I wanted for her to have perspectives when tough nights at school came about. It was absolutely a bonus into my life, and hopefully, hers.

to me Hoda went thru books. and online. picked her favourites and had her asistant get permission to post (you don't want to be chArged with plagiarism) . A quick cut and paste job with pretty flowers on the cover. Completed on her maternity leave. Not unique there are hundreds of ths kind of book on shelves. Hope somethng went to charity

Love you but not your book. Cheaply done and such a waste of paper. Some pages only had a few words. I've seen much better books on this same idea. Quite disappointed.
