Rock Tawa cast Iron Dosa Tawa 14 Inch Pre-Seasoned

This is a good product. Very heavy and sturdy. Only problem is 14 inch is not for home use. Because this is very big size for the burner which we use at home. So the heat does not distribute properly. If someone want to buy this, I recommend go for 12 inch or10 inch for home use

I was using Teflon coated Nonstick Cookware for many years. Have to replace Nonstick cookwares once in 2 years otherwise the coating will become harmful to our health. So I choose Cast iron as an alternative which is non sticky than Teflon coated pans (with proper seasoning & care), Good for health, tasty & durable for life time. So I replaced all the Teflon coated cookware to cast iron. Cast iron cookwares are value for money than Teflon coated cookwares. This Rock 14 inch Tawa surface finish is Smooth. After seasoning dosa came pretty well. It's non sticky. Easy to clean. Cast iron used is pure & sturdy. Heat distribution is even till 12 inch after that there is slight temperature difference. Anyway it's a nice product. We can make tasty, crispy & large Masala dosa. Thanks to Rock Tawa.

Good Quality Tawa but buy the 12 inch tawa, this 14 inch too big and too heavy for use in our kitchen . The flame of domestic burner doesn’t reach the ends of this 14 inch tawa , hence buy the 12 inch tawa, this tawa is good for restaurants with large burner.

Actually on having received the dosa tawa I really liked it...very sturdy and ghee roasts came very well...but on heating a small crack formed in the tawa... When it gets cool that crack is not much visible...but on heating it gets expanded...I have given replacement request believing the problem is with this tawa only.... will review soon on getting my replacement...if this is an exceptional thing...dosa tawa is good otherwise

It is a good Tawa, dosas came out nicely, k would recommend taking 12 inch tawa instead, 14 inch is too heavy and big to move and handle. Specially on gas. It would hav been easier with longer handle. Heat distribution is not suepr even, dosa became more red in the middle. Besides 12 ich is way chepaer for the same job.

It takes 2 to 3 days to season and make the tawa non sticky and dosa sticks very badly, but after continuous seasoning the tawa by rubbing onion with gingelly oil. Now i get super Dosas.

I really like the quality of this Rock Tawa, amazing product, dosas taste also change and turned out awesome, crispy dosas. Now onwards I’ll only use this type of tawa for dosas. Thank you Amazon for this amazing product.

Have been using it every week for the last 2+ years. Love it. The only thing to keep in mind is that since this is a14'' tawa, the edges take time to get heater on normal stoves. If I have to buy one more, I'll probably go for one size smaller.
