I purchased the Kolbs wedge pillow primarily to keep upper body elevated at night due to Acid Reflux. First Impressions The pillow arrived well packaged and expanded quickly after opening. The foam feels dense and supportive rather than overly soft, which is important for maintaining the incline. The incline provides enough elevation to keep my upper body supported, which has been helpful for sleeping more comfortably with acid reflux. Comfort & Performance The elevation provides good support without feeling too steep, and it holds its shape through the night. I've found it comfortable for both sleeping and sitting upright in bed. The removable cover is also a nice feature and makes cleaning easy. As expected nice and wide and just the right height to give you a comfortable lift to your upper body area to take pressure off of the neck while sleeping . Took only a day to get to full size as it was rolled and condensed in the box. Good wrapping and very tight in the package may need help opening it up.

This Kolbs Bed Wedge Pillow works good for GERD and helps reduce discomfort at night. Elevating my upper body has made a noticeable difference in how I sleep. It’s firm but still comfortable, and it holds its shape well throughout the night. It took a little getting used to, but it has definitely helped improve sleep quality when dealing with acid reflux.

This review is for the Extra Wide 7.5" Height. Recently had abdominal surgery and was using a motorized recliner chair... but wanted to start sleeping in the bed again. Laying flat was painful and hard to get in/out of that position. I'm 5'9" I initially ordered the Standard Width 7.5" Height, but then realized I wanted the pillow to accommodate from my waist to my head, which is about 32-33"... and the Standard Width would accommodate only 25.15", leading to a bend in my spine. So I used the Extra Wide 7.5" Height which gives me 33.85" of sleeping area (perfect for my back and a nice pillow). It also allows for rolling side to side without falling off the wedge. So I had a PERFECT night's sleep, the best one during my entire recovery time so far. I like how the angle of the extra-wide wedge is more gradual than the standard width. The angle of the Standard Width is 17.35°; and the angle of the Extra Wide is 12.8°. The only negative thing is the exorbitant price. But I'll be using this pillow a lot, especially for my next upcoming surgery. It's very comfortable, and the angle is "just right."

Excellent product. It has just the right firmness to be supportive. It came with a cover on it that is soft and appears to be well made. It is just the right size to fit on my side of our bed. Did not have the foul odor of a lot of pillows either when it came out of the package. I was sleeping better the very first night!

I purchased this wedge pillow thinking it would help me sleep better following a rather stupid “I hurt my neck just by sleeping” injury. I prefer sleeping with my head elevated already, so I thought that this wedge pillow would allow a more sturdier sleeping arrangement than the two pillows I already use. I only slept with this pillow under my head for one night, and I did so just like the picture shows: the wedge pillow and another pillow. I found that with my pillow and the wedge, the elevation was too high for my liking. I don’t always sleep on my back, so when I tried to side sleep, the wedge pillow was so high that there wasn’t a comfortable alignment. I had to scoot lower in the bed to get less elevation, and by doing so, that put me in the danger zone of direct contact with the hubby’s farts. Seriously. Since that night, I’ve been sleeping with this wedge pillow under my legs. It works perfectly this way, until hubby manages to kick it away from under my legs as we sleep. I used to sleep with two pillows under my legs, and most nights I would lose one pillow, or I would have to constantly fix the pillows to stay under my legs. I’ve had this pillow for about a week now. The firmness and support for my legs is perfect. If I were to switch this pillow back to sleeping for head support, it might work better without my pillow, but who can sleep without their own pillow? I sure can’t… Except for hubby kicking the pillow away somehow, this wedge pillow stays put for the most part, and doesn’t slip away when you least expect it. The color of the pillow ( gray on the sides and off-white/ivory-ish on top) doesn’t clash with the bedding I have already. It would be nice if there would be options for a pillow case for this wedge pillow should there be issues of color matching with the bedding one already has. This pillow fits nicely on our queen sized bed and doesn’t “intrude” onto hubby’s side of the bed. This wedge pillow is larger than standard sized pillows, but the weight of the pillow is manageable. Unless you were able to vacuum pack or vacuum seal this pillow, I would not recommend traveling with this pillow. It would be much too big to fit in a car, van, or plane comfortably.

This bed wedge pillow works great for my neck and shoulder pain. It helps keep me on my back so that I don't turn on my side. It is very sturdy and comfortable. I liked it so much that I bought another one for our RV. I am very impressed with this wedge and it's versatility, I have used it for sleeping, to prop up for reading and even used it under my legs to keep them elevated.

I bought the Standard Wedge (12” Height) because it’s tall enough to reach the headboard and works perfectly turned on its length for upright support. I have arthritis, sciatica, and various nerve pain issues, and this wedge has made a real difference to my comfort. I use it alongside a leg wedge to relieve pressure on my lower back, plus two feather pillows for extra softness. I was worried it might look bulky or unattractive, but it actually looks fine, especially when layered with pillows. It’s firm, supportive, and surprisingly comfortable without causing any pressure pain. Definitely worth the purchase. I decided to leave a review because there are so many similar products, and this one turned out to be a great find, even though it was a bit of a blind buy. For pain sufferers do whatever you can to make life a little bit easier! 🙏

Habe das Keilkissen für meinen Mann nach einer Her-OP gekauft. Es erleichterte die Rückenlage da er nicht auf der Seite schlafen durfte. Leider kann man es wenn es nicht mehr gebraucht wird schlecht verstauen, da es doch sehr groß ist. Hat aber voll seinen Zweck erfüllt und war eine Hilfe.

This lived up to my expectations of being excellent quality and a life saver when it comes to night acid reflux. I previously had a larger higher wedge pillow which I slipped down all the time and was no good for my chronic back and knee pain caused by osteo arthritis and my reflux. This pillow is perfect - my acid reflux has virtually disappeared and I wake up with much less pain and stiffness. The pillow itself is high quality and I didn't experience any of the poor shape problems people have mentioned upon opening the product when receiving it.
