Got these ahead of the polar vortex for Chicago. Absolutely incredible. We like to go for long walks on the weekends and didn’t want the chill to stop us. These little guys are amazing - activated and popped a couple in my pockets before we headed out to put in my gloves, and grabbed a couple extra that I ended up popping into my balaclava and ear wrap. They are so nice and toasty! Two pairs of pants, 3 sweaters and a turtleneck under a wool giant sweater under a thick scarf under a wool trench coat under a head wrap under a balaclava, topped off with high quality winter snow boots with thick socks - still wouldn’t have been enough without these little guys! In fact, If I had to make a trade, I’d give up a couple of the sweaters just to have these, they are so effective. Already stocking up on more and plan to buy some for family. Longevity wise, I activated them around noon and by evening they were still warm, so I sat on them on our couch for extra warmth (as good as my regular heating pad I use for cramps!) and they were still going so I brought them to bed (technically not recommended per package instructions just FYI) but they STAYED WARM into the morning! Past 8am! That’s like 20+ hours of ongoing warmth. Big fan, can’t believe we have this technology and I know it’s been around for years, I remember a neighbor friend having them when I was kid, but I didn’t think about them until just recently. Wish I had sooner! Chicago winter can’t stop me!

If you need to keep warm anywhere and anytime these hand warmers are the way to go. They are perfect in a pinch or a planned outing where you know you will get chilled. I spent a long day outdoors in cold weather and these hand warmers were a life saver! I had some in different pockets of my ski clothing and I was surprised at how much heat they gave off. Unusual for me not to be cold outside but I wasn’t at all and it was below 30 degrees. The quality is excellent. Once you open the packet, shake the bag to mix up the material inside and within minutes there is heat. Give them a few more minutes in the open air to get really warm. After that you can stick them anywhere and they will stay super warm. They are so convenient and easy to use. The package states they are only good for 18 hours but these things stayed warm overnight and were still going strong! I had placed two of them that I opened during the day on my nightstand and in the morning they were just starting to cool down. I couldn’t believe it. Now I won’t leave home without them because you never know when you will come across a need to keep warm especially in the winter! They fit perfect in just about any pocket or under your sleeves to help keep your hands warm. Sticking them next to my wrist under my shirt they were very comfortable and really improved the length of time I could tolerate being out in the cold as they prevented my fingers from getting to cold. I consider them a must have item for anyone facing challenging weather lol Great value for the money and an absolute staple in your gear! As an idea I have thought of Carrying some duct tape and a package of these along for an outdoor excursion so if you ever need to keep warm outside you can tape them together to make a warm blanket! lol They work fantastic.

I purchased these to place inside my gloves so that I could keep my hands warm when I ride my bike in the winter. If you live where it gets cold and have ridden much during that time of year, you can likely see the need for more heat than your body can naturally produce, especially for your hands and fingers. Even with a good quality pair of gloves, your fingers can get so cold, ruining your ride comfort quickly. Using these warmers has enabled me to ride at times that I would normally not be able to endure the elements to do it. The heat in each packet is not whimp y by far, and in fact, if you are sensitive to it, you may have to wrap them in a cloth before placing them in your gloves. I like the larger size because they heat a larger area inside my gloves . You don't have to limit the use of them to only your hands. I have placed activated pads into my inside coat pockets the front and rear pockets of my pants, my boots, etc., To activate the packets, remove a packet from the outer wrapper and shake it for a few seconds. In no time at all, you will feel the packets getting warmer and warmer. Now just place them where you need heat. You'll have hours of heat, not minutes. If placing them anywhere but the palms of your hands do not place them in direct contact with your skin. Always use something between your skin and the packet. Sometimes after a couple hours, the heat may start to decrease. If this happens, just shake to reactivate the pad. Each pad will last several hours usually outlasting my outdoor needs. Sometimes I will put my hand and the pad in an athletic sock and pet my dog with it. He absolutely loves it after a trip outdoors to relieve himself or play in the snow. There are several sizes available for your individual needs. Considering how inexpensive they are, is it really necessary to do without them? Not for me. Give them a try.

Got these for the winter storms earlier this year and they were definitely worth the money. They shipped pretty quickly and came right before we got snowed in for a couple of weeks. They were very easy to use and we could feel the heat almost instantaneously. They were small enough to keep in our pockets without weighing them down at all.

These work amazingly. Definely keeps you warm during the cold weather and so easy use. Small enough to slip in you pockets or mittens. Worth the cost.

I bought the big bag in anticipation of a recent blizzard where we'd surely lose power and heat for days. I have sensitive joints and these absolutely work like a charm keeping my hands warm and toasty! I even stuck them on my lower back and chest arm for extra warmth. They truly work for hours! Even overnight!! I used to buy these in bulk years ago when I'd go snow skiing every weekend and thought they were fantastic back then..... and the quality is just as great as they've always been. my hands get so so cold. i have purchased several rechargeable hand warmers and i prefer these. they last longer and get hotter than the reusable ones. the square is pretty large and it couldn't get any easier to use. you just open the bag and give the pouch a little shake to aerate the insides. the air makes it hot. i usually use these while walking my dog at night. i keep them in my pockets and put one in my shirt. sometimes it gets hot enough to feel like my chest is burning, but it burns so good, if that makes sense. like it's so warm and comforting, kind of like when you step into hot water and it stings a little at first. anyway, i would say this is also pretty sturdy. my dog has tried to play with this before and the pouch didn't break open (which i was really worried about). i also gave one to a friend at a theme park once and she dropped it into her food, but was able to wipe it off cleanly and still use it. i would also say it lasts the whole 18 hours as advertised or longer and i plan on buying them again. my sister says sometimes you can reuse these by vacuum sealing them into ziplocks and putting them in your fridge. then when you reintroduce air to it, it'll get hot again, but i don't know if i believe her.
