I don’t have monomer fluid to remove wax layer. Can I use something else?

Of course. Brushes of all different types come with a wax layer to protect their shape until they get to their user. Just was all brushes with brush cleaner before using. If you don't have that a very mild soap will do.

Can these brushes be cleaned with acetone?

If you're using these for water-based acrylic paints, cleaning them with plain water works great. If you're using these for gel polishes, either use a lint-free wipe and alcohol to fold around the brush to basically just remove surface polish until the next use, or top coat. Pull the bristles through the top coat and wipe them onto a lint-free wipe, pulling only in one direction. Keep doing this until the top coat wipes clear or almost clear.

Can I just use alcohol to clean these?

Honestly the best way to clean gel brushes is by running them through clear gel. Keep wiping till no more color remains. Acetone, alcohol or anything harsh shortens the life of the brush.
